And it’s search time… to learn sniff-tastic search foundations and imprint odour. Nose work classes for 2025 across Sydney and Canberra are well and truly underway and it has been scent-sastional. 👃👩🏻💻🦮

The new year is off to a start and so is Nose Work with only 1 spot left in my intro class. Intro to Nose Work is run by yours truly 👋, the only certified nose work instructor in all of Southern Sydney.
It is as close to magic for a dog. ✨🪄
Your dog will learn the skills inspired by working detection dogs and at the end of the 6 classes, you will search away feeling like you have your very own personal detection dog who is so innately HAPPY. Nose work is a magical tool that will boost confidence and focus in your dog, and it provides a safe way to keep dogs fit and healthy through mental and physical exercise.
Details below:Joining criteria: MUST BE A DOG (picky I know, so sorry)- so if your dog is shy, excitable, nervous, energetic, sloth like, cuddly, reactive, scared, blind, deaf, old, young, a limb down, recovering from an injury, arthritis riddled, ginormous, teeny tiny or any size in between, you are welcome.

🐶 Session 1: Saturday 1st February
🐶 Session 2: Sunday 2nd February

Time: 8:30am (for roughly 1.5 hours but hey I work with dogs and they are not robots)
Location: Jannali Public School - rain, hail or shine

As we wave goodbye to 2024 and say hello to 2025 👋, I want to express my deepest gratitude. I am Goin’ Muttz because of each and every one of you. Over many years of being a trainer, I have been so fortunate to cross the paths of so many wonderful souls, many who still remain in my life. This past year has been no different. How lucky am I.
A person’s dog is their sun, their light, all of their love, their world, their life. While many people spend their year revolving around the sun, there are so many people, dog people, who’s life revolves around their dog. I know this and understand it in its entirely, because I fortunately experience this everyday with Luna. It is both beautiful and brutal.
I appreciate what it means to be trusted with the wellbeing of so many dogs, your dog and for this, I thank you. Sincerely. Deeply. For all that it means. It is the biggest compliment I can receive.
So as the world starts to revolve around the sun for 2025 and us around our dogs, stop and take a moment. Be still and hold your loved ones. One thing that is promised is that time will continue. So when you have that moment in time, embrace it, it is all that there is. It is everything we know. It is special and magical.
