Easter is just around the corner and as many of you may know chocolate is TOXIC to Cats and Dogs!
Here are a couple of facts about chocolate toxicity……
~ signs of chocolate toxicity range from vomiting and diarrhoea to seizures and collapse. Some animals can die from toxicity.
~ symptoms can occur anywhere from 4-24 hours after the dog has ingested the chocolate…this is depending on the amount and type of chocolate.
No matter how hard your pet begs you even with the cutest puppy eyes…DO NOT GIVE IN!
This Easter stick to doggy safe treats or healthy alternatives such as carrots. They’re not just for the Easter Bunny, you know!
Make hiding your chocolate stash a must this Easter 🐣🌞🍫

At the end of January we said farewell to our amazing receptionist Steph. Bent st vets had the pleasure of having Steph as one of our head receptionists for nearly 7 Years. She will be truly missed by all. We wish her all the happiness to her new beginnings ❤️🥰

🚧 Heads up Gympie! 🚧

👷 Station Road Widening Project kicks off in the first week of January 2024!

🏗️ The project will Improve road safety & pedestrian access by widening the road, building a footpath from Cogan St roundabout to Bent St, upgrading the stormwater drainage and a complete reseal of Station Road.

🛑 Important traffic Info:
While works are in place Station Road will be closed to westbound (uphill) traffic and a detour will be in place via Cogan St, Tozer Park Rd and Tozer St. Eastbound (downhill) traffic can still access station road. Traffic control and signage will be in place to direct motorists and pedestrians. Please allow additional travel time as delays are expected.
