Megan Jones Equestrian Training - MJET Horse riding lessons / Trail Rides / Ready Set Trot / School Holiday Program / Fall in LOVE with our horses This is the ultimate in equestrian fun.

At MJET we have amazing horses and ponies from the beginner to the advanced rider. All our have been carefully selected and you will fall in love after your first ride. Our team of experienced instructors will have you improving with every ride. If you have your own horse but would like to ride a school master to improve your own skills, we can help you too. We also offer Trail riding for small an

d large groups, birthday parties and rides for any special occasion. As well as Ready Set Trot sessions on weekends - a 2 hour equestrian experience including riding and learning about caring for the horses. These run
9am to 11am
10am to 12pm
11am to 1pm
12pm to 2pm

And the ever popular School Holiday Program that runs Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm during the school holidays. Book in for 1 day or all 5... participants get to feel like they actually own there own horse as they ride and play with ponies all day. 1 Hour Group Lesson- $85per rider (Up to 6 riders)

1 Hour Semi Private Lesson - $95 per rider (Up to 3 riders)

50 minute Private lessons - $125

2 Hour Ready Set Trot sessions - $110

1 Hour Trail Ride - $110

School holiday program

As of 2022 ALL lessons must be prepaid after initial assessment lesson. Lessons can be bought in blocks of 5 and are valid for up to 12 months.

24 hours notice is required for cancellations or a valid doctors certificate to recieve a make up lesson. Riders must be over the age of 5 to begin lessons and not exceed 100kg. Please call for Ready Set Trot and School Holiday Program pricing and availability. Bookings essential.

2 lessons on day 1 and 2 a mix of XC, SJ and dressage sessions. Configuration done once entries in and rider levels noted. Plus off horse sessions on day 1 and 2.

We can accommodate NON jumping riders as well.

Then a full competition on the 3rd day - with prizes!!
(Some dressage tests may have to be ridden on day 2 afternoon depending on numbers)

Horses stay in post and rail yards and riders camp in their float or byo tent we also have the B and B you can hire with a few friends.
Some bring their own caravan!

If you want to arrive the day before we start you are welcome to.

All meals and snacks included from day 1 lunch to day 3 lunch.
$90 If non riding parent / friend is also staying and wants to be included in meals.

$570 / per horse rider combination - inc gst

The equine salt spa successfully addresses virtually all lower leg injuries including tendon and ligament injuries, laminitis, splints, sore shins, open wounds, and hoof conditions.

Cold Salt hydrotherapy for horses is an effective and drug-free therapy that can be used for rehabilitation and performance as well as injury prevention. It is fantastic as a pre-competition therapy, especially if you have a long trip ahead. Your horse will feel fresh and ready to compete. The spa can also help increase mobility and reduce swelling in the limbs after competitive events and training.

The water is cooled to around 2 degrees and with the added minerals there is an anti microbial action meaning there is no risk of disease transfer between horses.

The Dream the ultimate rocking horse ๐Ÿด Denis is your man if you are looking for that next step up in size. 16.2hh 15yo TB gelding Denis is the ultimate all rounder in his past life with a junior rider and has also been used in the riding school. He is the most comfortable horse youโ€™ll ride. Has a super soft slow jump and wonโ€™t jump you out of the tack! He holds his rhythm really nicely and easily. Moves off the leg nicely He has great feet and clean legs. 3 great paces Soft and light mouth - makes a lovely outline. We clipped him and I just got on and rode him straight after his post clip wash and dry. No dirt in him at all he is very sweet and calls out to you when he sees you.
