School pony "Tabayne Wind in the Willows" aka Truffles safely carried 4yo Isabella in the beginners topsy ring at Dilutes winter woolies show yesterday.
Truffles is available for lesson on weekdays for children 12 yrs and under.

One of our gorgeous school ponies "Carreg Wen Rip Van Winkle" aka Rip safely carried 7yo Taliesha around the ring in the pouring rain at the Dilute winter woolies show yesterday to win champion in hand pony and champion learners ridden pony.
Rip is available for under 10 yrs children's lessons throughout the week.

FROM A PARENT:
One of my friends asked "Why do you pay so much money for your kids to ride horses?" Well I have a confession to make, I don't pay for my kids to ride horses. Personally, I couldn't care less about the horses.

So, if I am not paying for them to ride, what am I paying for?

- I pay for those moments when my kids become so tired they want to quit but don't.

- I pay for those days when my kids come home from school and are "too tired" to go the barn but go anyway.

- I pay for my kids to learn to be disciplined.

- I pay for my kids to learn to take care of their body.

- I pay for my kids to learn to work with others and to be good team mates.

- I pay for my kids to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don't get that score they'd hoped for, but still have to work hard in the grading.

- I pay for my kids to learn to make and accomplish goals.

- I pay for my kids to learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a champion, and that success does not happen overnight.

- I pay for the opportunity my kids have and will have to make life-long friendships.

- I pay so that my kids can be in the arena instead of in front of a screen...
..I could go on but, to be short, I don't pay for horse riding, I pay for the opportunities that horse riding provides my kids with to develop attributes that will serve them well throughout their lives and give them the opportunity to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen so far I think it is a great investment!

We are pleased to announce the addition of "Evo" to our team of school ponies.
Evo is an 8yo chestnut Thoroughbred gelding standing at 16hh with an amazing temperament
Evo will be available for adults and teenagers lessons. Ridden by 9yo Yasmine in this video.
Big thankyou to Troy Coomsy Coombe and Nicole of Champion horse transport for allowing us to purchase Evo.

The day started with a beautiful sunrise and bacon and eggs for breakfast.
Followed by almost 2 hours of riding fun and games, all girls have shown huge improvement over the past 2 days.

The weather was not in our favour tonight with 40km hour winds...so Mia and Scarlett learnt how to disassemble their bridles, oil them and put them back together, followed by a lesson on mixing the ponies hard feeds, what all the vitamins and minerals are for, then helping feed all 10 school ponies and move some to fresh paddocks.

Tonights lesson all children worked on their position while trotting on cozzi, learned to wash a pony correctly and scrape/towel them down after followed by some inhand show leading training.
