After an unexpected and hard hitting setback with the flu followed by pneumonia, lessons will finally recommence from next weekend.

Breeding season is upon us and we are keenly awaiting the arrival of our two foals due in the second half of October.

After that, we have some exciting matings planned and, after the prolonged drought, lots of very overdue new fencing projects to give us more much-needed paddocks!

Siglavy Bekescsaba (Valour) is again available at stud both fresh and chilled.

We continue to offer our breeding services like foaling alarm and kit hire, Faecal Egg Counts, freeze branding, local mobile nursing (certified veterinary technician) and of course our historical dressage and rossfechten lessons.

The first official tying up session. A bit of a non event really as their lessons so far meant they understood the assignment.

Purebred yearling Lipizzaner c**ts available...

The drought in South Australia is hitting hard, and there's no relief in sight until nearly July apparently. Buying in extra hay and water (both domestic and stock) is crippling.

We always intended to ride this one out with the c**ts as we understand how tough it is for everyone, and intended to re-advertise them when things start looking up.

But these conditions simply aren't healthy for growing horses. They are foraging in dirt and breathing in dust, and we don't know when it will end.

So this is a call out to those who are being blessed with rain in the eastern states (or... anywhere but here) who have dreamed of one day owing a Lipizzaner. These c**ts have been on the market between $18-19.5k, but under these circumstances, we will consider reasonable offers. Ask the question.

In the meantime, we'll just keep going until it rains...
