We love a good teeth brushing over here! Macy enjoyed our new beef flavoured doggy toothpaste today as part of her groom! For just an extra $5 now your fur baby can have fresh breath 🦷🪥 but don't forget to get annual teeth cleans at the vets to get rid of that nasty plaque build up that alot of small dogs are prone to aswell as some larger dogs. Did you know that dental disease can lead to upper respiratory disease amongst other nasty health issues that are much harder for your dog to come back from as they get older? "Maintain, avoid pain" 🏥👩‍⚕️

Let’s talk Leptospirosis..

What is it?

Leptospirosis is a fatal bacterial disease that affects both dogs and humans.
This disease damages the kidneys and liver of our dogs and if left untreated can be life threatening.

Dogs can contract this disease if they are unvaccinated and come in contact with contaminated urine, water or soil, which is usually spread by rodents 🐀

Symptoms can include:
🐾Lethargy
🐾Jaundice (yellowing of the mucous membranes, eyes and skin)
🐾Fever
🐾Loss of appetite
🐾Vomiting
🐾Diarrhoea

We now have a new and improved Leptospirosis vaccination available that provides a broader coverage for your dog, as it targets the two main strains found in NSW while at the same time reducing the risk of allergic reactions!

This vaccination requires a 4 week booster after the first initial injection.
The leptospirosis vaccination is then required annually after the first two initial injections. 💉
