This week we got the news that Butch’n’Bugs or Changa as he is well known would be retired.
What an amazing career he has had, from the day GBR bought him over 7 years ago for $3k, he has been a stable favourite.
Named after combining our two childhood nicknames, he has amassed almost $250k in prize money, but the journey was much more than that.
Changa has created a following from owners, friends and even outside racing enthusiasts over the last 5 years.
We are so proud of him and the amazing job Pete and Joel have done with him throughout his career.
💚💜🐎
To celebrate his career a couple of mates put together this highlights package for us to enjoy.
GBR were pleased with the first trial of Roman Song today at Warwick Farm.
Tina as she is known, did everything asked of her by Louise and while she still has a lot to learn on the track it was nice to see her jump well and finish nicely.
This ownership group are looking forward to enjoying the ride with her as her racing career is not far from getting underway.

The trial of Declutter (Forest) was very impressive this morning running 4th in a trail that included the G3 Pago Pago winner Rise of the Masses.
Pete trained Forrest’s mum Danshari, and we are looking forward to seeing Declutter get to the races for his debut very soon.
GBR will have a couple of horses returning to the racetrack soon and we were encouraged by two nice trials in Flying Shamus and Declutter this morning at Gosford.
Below is the trial on Flying Shamus (Sarabi)
After a few months break, the Steve’s Stable 3yo Sizzling filly is back into work.
She looks outstanding and we can’t wait to see her get to the track this time in.
If you are interested in more information on this filly let me know and I’ll connect you with Steve who is a great supporter of GBR.
Merry Christmas from GBR 💚🐎💜
Enjoy a happy and safe festive season, we are looking forward to a prosperous 2022 with our owners.
Thank you to our owners and staff for 2021.
GBR need your support to promote our two stable stars for a slot in the $700k Four Pillars Midway at Rosehill on the 30th of October.
Help us generate a little interest by sharing with your group of friends.

Great feedback from Keagan after Maverick’s run in the Inglis Guineas on Saturday.
The Fighter is off to the paddock for a few months and we’ll be back bigger and better next prep.
Great Job Pete, your giving the owners an amazing ride.
