Once born each litter goes through a thorough imprinting program that runs from birth to handover. We believe this 8 week p

Yesterday afternoon this young man helped his handler in a proposal to their partner. He helped deliver the ring to her on their favorite beach 🏝️

Onix was a very good boy (aside from dropping the ring a few times😅) and was absolutely stocked to be involved 😍

Huge thanks to our trainer Addy for all the help in teaching the retrievals and teaching him to be gentle with the ring 😊

Onix is doing a combination of distance learning training from Victoria and also travels to Sydney for training at K9pro Headquarters.

This is the happy face of a young man who smashed a personal best length (14ft 2 inches) at dock diving over the weekend at Melbourne's Dog Lovers Show, making it to the finals round!

Onix is an in training personal assistance dog , training with Addy at K9 Pro - The K9 Professionals through distance learning and some onsite training where possible. Just moments before his last jump, Onix was actually tasking for his handler performing some deep pressure therapy after an unexpected medical episode.

What a champion, well done Onix 🥰

“Never work with Children or Animals”; I disagree! Kenzie waited all week last week to be able to help out with our ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) program we conduct on all our puppies at Herzhund Kennels from days 3 to 16. ENS introduces pups to mild stresses in a controlled manner to help with stress responses when they are older, stimulates their neurological system and improve their cardio vascular function. This is something we have included both of our children in for all our litters in the past. Kenzie has a real natural ability to handle the pups that many adults would envy. She has a genuine love and care for them and understanding of their needs, so with all of this in mind, I let her handle the all the pups and do the ENS herself this past weekend. She did a fabulous job with each and every pup. This experience invaluable for both her and the pups. As you watch the video you can see she goes through the motions of weighing each pup, checking their collars to see if they need to be extended, places the pups on a cold surface, “tickles” their toes with an ear bud and holds them in three separate positions; straight up, laying on their back and upside down. Check the video out now!

~ Herzhund M Litter ~ Did you know that Yellow Labradors are born with pink noses and paw pads? Over a period of time the pigment changes to black! We have found this facinating to watch and thought you might like to see the changes too!
