📣 FREE ENGRAVED DOG TAGS FOR NSW RESIDENTS 📣

We want to help more lost dogs return home WITHOUT coming to council shelters.

So, we are giving away 1000 FREE engraved dog tags to dog owners who live in NSW. All you need is a microchipped dog with up-to-date microchip details. Limit of 3 tags per household.

🔹 Not sure if your dog is microchipped? Bring your dog to your local council animal shelter, and the staff can scan the dog for a microchip and check if the details are up-to-date. If not, the staff can assist you in updating it, at no cost. If the dog isn't microchipped, some councils offer free or discounted microchipping, but if not, it can be done at vet clinics for a fee.

🔹 Do you have the microchip number already and want to verify if it's up-to-date? Contact your council with the microchip number, your full name, address, and phone number, and they can check for you.

If you are a NSW resident and have already confirmed that the microchip is up-to-date (including your name, phone number, and current address), get your free engraved pet tag here 👉 https://bit.ly/free-engraved-dog-tags

This is a www.findmyowner.com.au initiative, proudly supported by the NSW Government.

Another successful Vaccination Day today, for all the cats who missed out earlier in the year due to the cat vaccine shortage.

There were lots of gorgeous cats and kittens and cuddles today.

A big thankyou to all who helped make this a successful day. Particularly to the two veterinarians who volunteered their time and experience to check, vaccinate and microchip all these lovely cats and kittens.

It's not too late!!!!We still have a couple of vacancies for tomorrows cat vaccination day.

❗️SNAKE SEASON HAS ARRIVED...

You can make your yard less attractive to snakes by keeping your grass short as possible and removing any rubbish that would provide a good hiding place.

Know the Signs of a Bite:

It’s important to be aware of what signs your pet may exhibit - so you can react quickly and save their life.

Sudden weakness and collapse (this may be followed by your pet getting up again and seeming normal)
Trembling, shaking or twitching
Unsteadiness, or weakness in the hind legs
Diarrhoea
Vomiting
Excessive salivation, drooling or frothing at the mouth
Difficulty breathing
Blood in their urine
Dilated pupils
Paralysis

If you suspect your pet has been bitten, do not wait for symptoms to appear - head straight to your vet. If possible call ahead to let them know you are coming.

Keep your pet as still as possible. Wrap in a blanket and carry to car (do not allow to walk themselves). Venom is carried in the bloodstream and extra movement will speed up the process.

Do not waste time searching for a bite as these are usually small and difficult to detect.
