We have lowered are target for the gofund me as some lovely friends of our donated by bank transfer. We have a special day planned down at victor harbour 2morrow with the family and my parents early morning before it gets hot. Today we have just chilled under the air-conditioning while we groomed nala with the pet vacuum making her all pretty 💜🐺 Thanks again for the support everyone means alot to us 💜💜💜

Just had the hardest conversation with my step son about Nala, as he asked today "why we are doing all these things for nala" So I sat down with both Ryan & Sarsha and told them what's going on that with Nala girl 😥 Ryan understood but Sarsha not so much she only seen Mummy & Daddy carying so she gave us hugs 💔💜🐺

Saturday morning adventure to the Adelaide Himeji Garden then a nice stroll around the park lands followed by icecream then back home to laz around watching doggie movies with Kasper & Nala enjoying our time together ❤️🐺🐺❤️

We have found a place that is willing to do Nala's final moments down at the beach as the sunsets on Saturday the 15th. I do have to take some steps to keep it private (from public eyes).
So we will have a little beach tent setup and also a trolley cart with blankets for afterwards.
The plan for the day is that we will be down there as a family from a certain time, so if you would like to come see us I will let you all know where we will be on the day at semaphore.

Sarsha woke up while I was bringing the furkids inside from morning toilet time and immediately gave Nala the biggest hug followed by Kasper. Sarsha loves them both so much. 🐺💜🐺💚

Hello, dear friends and followers, we would like to share with you that our beloved Nala girl has been dealing with health concerns for the past couple of months, requiring multiple trips to the vet and comprehensive blood work, which have identified high enzyme levels in her liver and kidneys, suggesting a possible presence of masses or cancers within her.

Throughout the 5 years, Nala has suffered from multiple seizures; however, she has been fortunate enough to recover from them with only slight side effects on her overall well-being.

As I write this post, I am faced with the difficult decision of determining the quality of life for our beloved Nala Girl, a choice I have been putting off for as long as possible.

Notably, Nala has begun to display pronounced signs of aging over the last couple of weeks, including impaired ambulation and increased effort required to stand, accompanied by behavioral shifts suggestive of senility, aligning with her age of 13 years and 3 months.

I am keen to take Nala on some family adventures during the upcoming long weekend, as 15th March
"depending on laws and circumstances."
It will be our final time together as a family "hopefully" watching the sunset down on the beach.

As we contemplate the most fitting way to bid farewell to Nala, we would be honored if everyone could join us in earlier that day celebrating her life, highlighting the profound impact she has had on the lives of the many beautiful people who care for her.

In our endeavor to provide her with a sendoff that truly reflects the love and admiration she deserves, we anticipate some expenses, and we invite those who wish to contribute to her celebration to notify us, as we may establish a Gofundme in support of our beloved Nala Girl, whose mesmerizing blue eyes have left an indelible mark on our hearts, and who has been Kasper's faithful friend. 💔💜🐺

We will keep everyone posted on this as I have to chat with the vet & other people before I can make a decision.

Friday afternoon will be spent assembling two stands, A2 and A20, in the shed, while four garden beds await processing through the thickness machine for assembly readiness. An A1 stand, built 4.5 years ago, is also being restored with a fresh coat of lacquer after sanding. ;)
