How lucky were we to have the gorgeous Ruby the Rottweiler visit our PupArt Room this week? 🐾🎨 She had the best time exploring, sniffing, and getting stuck into all the fun!

Enrichment for Senior Dogs – Why It Matters So Much

The very distinguished Buddy (photo above) joined us at Puzzles last weekend 🤍🩶 We loved watching him learn new skills and grow in confidence! What a super sniffer he was 🩶

Enrichment is crucial for our older dogs. This topic is so close to my heart, especially with my nearly 12-year-old Dobermann. While she can no longer do the physical activities she once loved, providing her with tailored enrichment activities we assist supporting her mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Despite her age, she’s still as sharp as a tack and absolutely lives for her daily enrichment sessions! 💖

Here’s why enrichment is essential for senior dogs:

Preventing Cognitive Decline: Keeping their brains busy with puzzles, scent games, or problem-solving helps maintain mental sharpness.
