Based in beautiful Hervey Bay QLD, we are a small bespoke stud focused on breeding quality clydesdale cross horses with type, temperament and talent.
A little late to share the news - our final mare has been scanned positive in foal to Thunder.
Theia is our lovely Appaloosa girl. Her foal is guaranteed to have Appaloosa colouring and splash white, plus possibly dun and cream.
This will be our last foal for the foreseeable future while we take some time for our own little family.
I’m not sure this is what our accountant meant when he told us we need to diversify, but who could resist these faces 😍

Sharing some quick snaps of our wonderful stallion in all of his muddy glory. Mia has been his paddock buddy since he was 11 months old and I can tell that he is missing her too, so we’ve been spending lots of time together this week.
Temperament is everything but he’s certainly not bad to look at either. At only 3 he’s still got a lot of growing and filling out to do 💙

At just over 2 months old, Apollo is a monster. For reference, this is him next to mum Mia who is measured at 16.2h.
He’s already bigger than his older brother Albert. We’re thinking he should reach 17h.
We had a mini spa day with some of the horses today after much needed rain last night.
Theia decided to upgrade and got herself the mud therapy treatment 😊 Would you believe she’s actually an Appaloosa.

Major drama here today after I dropped a biscuit of hay where it doesn’t belong.
Guinea fowl - the loudest, most dramatic, useful, unintelligent and hilarious animal to exist.

A leisurely stroll through our growing fruit orchard with Aurora (FNI Dreams Catch Me). I just adore this girl. She is PTIF to Thunder for an August baby.

Albert is 4 months old - 50% Clydesdale and 50% Appaloosa.
Apollo is 1 month old - 75% Clydesdale, 12.5% Warmblood and 12.5% paint.
Really happy with how they’re both maturing. They will be looking for new homes. Send me a message if you would like to know more.
Our little lady is over a week old already. Not to wish away the time, but I’m so excited to see her true colour come through at the first foal shed.

All we ever wish for is a healthy baby, but a filly born on my mums birthday (and after Apollo was born on my dads birthday!) is extra special.
UPDATE: While we didn't have a correct guess for everything (January, filly, chestnut roan) we had 2 very close guesses. Well done to Amanda Langshaw and Holly Dubois. Please message us so that we can get some drink bottles out to you :)

Apollo is 2 weeks old and huge!
Not quite a clydie, but how cute is this mini mule born at our place this morning.
We have been looking after mum for a couple of nights for our neighbours - of course she decided that was the perfect time to foal 🙂

It’s been a challenge to take photos of Apollo. As soon as he sees me he’s straight over for a scratch.

While we wait (not so patiently) for Mia to foal, we’ll start to announce the mares we have due in 2024.

Mia has started to wax up so we have checked her into the maternity ward a little earlier than anticipated.
Mia is a 16.1h Clydesdale x Warmblood/Paint, my heart horse and the reason we started the stud.
We are so excited to see what she will produce.
