Ashtonleigh has once again had a fantastic show year. Our top honour goes to
Hurukamandege Lucky You - Bailey

Bailey finished 2024 being the No1 Miniature Long Hair Dachshund Breed Challenge in not only Qld but Australia!

Ashtonleigh Summer Magic -Summer was No 1 Rising Star in Qld & 4th in Australia!

Capri, Freckles, Richie, Shelby & Zelda were all placed in the top 21 in Qld.

Love our kids & look forward to starting off our new additions 🐾❤️

New Years Eve 2024

Capri picked the final day of the year to welcome her 5 little babies into the world ( due Jan 2nd).
She has 1 Cream Girl, 1 Cream Boy,
1 Black/Cream Girl, 1 Black/Cream Boy
& 1 Dilute Girl. All puppies are healthy & thriving. We can’t wait to see how these puppies grow as we are looking for our next Show Stopper & Stud to step into Bailey’s big shoes when the time comes for him to retire..

Even though we have started 2025 we have 2 more posts for 2024.
I’ll make this one Freckles.

Freckles was carrying 3 babies but as the days got closer to full term she only had one survive. Due to the problems with her mother and herself not being able to carry babies to term we made the decision to desex her. So she has 1 tiny little Shaded Cream Boy. He’s a bit slow & weak in the eating game so with some bottle top ups & some naps in the heat box he has picked up a lot. We have everything crossed for this little man 🤞
Capri had a bonus baby so Freckles has adopted her so that he has a little (huge mate) last photo. She is a Dilute with cream points I believe. Wasn’t planned & very unexpected. But we love her just the same ❤️
