I know we’ve bombarded you with doses of cuteness this week but here’s some more. Hi, Linda here these are my foster kittens, all 6 of them along with their mum Ziggy. Ziggy is one of the lucky ones, she was rescued with her kittens and brought into care, she is now on the best nutrition and is able to raise her kittens in a loving, safe and calm environment with everything she needs; it’s an absolute pleasure to be able to support her during this process. I feel for all the stray cats out there having their kittens in drains, stressed, hungry and depleted of the nutrients they need. Hats off to all of the rescue groups in Hervey Bay who give their own time, money and resources to aid these beautiful animals ❤️# rescue # last litter # Touching Hearts Rescue # Found Hearts Rescue # Fraser Coast Pet Warriors # Adopt A Dog Fraser Coast
Another refugee has arrived at our clinic and will be ready for adoption within the week, we would love to hear some ideas for names for this little man, we’ll inform you of the winning name 😻
When people bring their pets in to us, the first thing we do is ask them to pop their pet on the scales, whether we manage to get their weight is another matter😂🐶
Another litter of refugees arrived at the clinic today and there is nothing nurse Kelly loves more than kittens!! She nurses them, she cleans them , she rounds them up and watches over them, good girl Kelly - best dog🐶🐱

Have you seen ear mites before?
Here is a video of the little buggers.
Kittens and puppies are very susceptible to ear mites because they're transmitted by close contact, so only one baby can contaminate his siblings very quickly.
If your pet has itchy ears and brown discharge, take him/her to a vet for a check up.
Chief bubble popper Sophie in action after the order arrived this morning!
-- Please note-- Two vets and two vet nurses supervise Sophie's work. We do not recommend this at home.
This little baby possum was brought in by a lovely client who found its mum on Scarness severely injured.
Unfortunately she did not survived but her little baby was still alive.
We contacted a local wildlife rescue group and the baby is now going to have good chances of survival.
Please, if you find any injured wildlife, contact a Vet Clinic ASAP to organise care and treatment.
