With the 2025 just around the corner 🥳
Remember to keep your pets safe
Bring Them Indoors
Get your pets inside early, long before the fireworks start. This keeps them safe and prevents them from running off if they get scared.
Close Curtains and Play Music
Shut the blinds or curtains to block out the flashing lights. Turn on some low soothing music or the TV to help drown out the loud fireworks.
Create a Cosy Spot
Set up a quiet area with their favourite bed, blanket, toys, and some long-lasting chew treats to help them feel secure and comfortable. An enrichment feeder or a Kong with a little peanut butter is also a simple and engaging idea.
Stay with Them or Arrange Company
Pets feel calmer with someone they trust. If you can’t be home, ask a friend, family member or hire a pet sitter to keep them company.
Check Their ID
In case the worst happens, and your pet gets out, make sure their tags have your up-to-date phone number. Adding a tracking device, like an Air tag, is also a smart choice for extra peace of mind.
