Here are the results from the weekend’s Maitland Trial. Everyone was amazing and congratulations to you all for your fabulous work. (Please let me know if I’ve made any errors and I’ll fix it up)
Day 1
In obedience, CCD we had a clean sweep with
1st Lorraine and Billie
2nd Deb and Ned
3rd Wayne and Jinx
Rally
In Rally Novice, Sarah and Cosmo placed 2nd. Wayne and Jinx just missing out on 3rd with a count back.
In Rally excellent, Liz and Colbie came 3rd
While in Rally masters, Lyn and Chester achieved their 8th qualification towards Championship.
Tricks
In Tricks Novice Doris and Pepper achieved a well deserved 1st!
While in Intermediate Tricks, Sarah and Cosmo came away with a qualification.
Day 2
CCD another clean sweep with
Reba and Pumpkin coming first just narrowly beating
Lorraine and Billie who achieved 2nd and achieved their title.
Finishing up the trifecta were Cheryl and Flynn who placed third
Halana And Archie, and Linda and Stella both qualified
In CD, Erin and Jimmy placed 2nd and achieved their title plus won a huge pile of Club Plaques for her achievements as a Maitland Club member. Brilliant work!
While in Open Kerry & Eva did brilliantly to achieve 1st
Other Maitland Club awards
Lorraine achieved the CCD highest score club award (she is also a member of Maitland) and highest heeling points in CCD over the 2 days.
Afternoon
In Tricks starter
Erin and Jimmy placed second. While Sharon and Jinx, and Lorraine and Darcie both qualified.
While in Tricks Novice, Doris and Pepper brilliantly came away with 2nd and achieved their title.
Sarah and Cosmo qualified in Tricks Intermediate.
While in Rally….
Rally novice
Linda A and Stella placed 3rd and achieved their title. While Wayne and Jinx qualified.
In Rally Advanced, Paul H & Joe placed 2nd.
In Rally Excellent, Erin and Jimmy came first plus gained their title while Lorraine and Darcie came 3rd

Here is a member of a higher class practicing a jump. The dog is learning to go over the jump and then return in front of the owner at the side of the jump. This skill is a skill tested in obedience trials.
A member practicing weave in our Upper Green class. This helps the dog learn to stay focused on you while near another dog.
