Hey Everyone….all my clients past and present. Everyone knows Sophie and those who know me well know how much she means to me and how well she looks after me as an assistance dog. I decided to enter Soph in the Oz Top Dog comp and much to my surprise she has been chosen as a finalist in the Top Dog with a Job category. There is also a People’s Choice category which is open to every entrant. The place running the comp is also raising funds for mental health and animal charities (although you don’t have to donate to vote). Anyway, I would be so grateful if you guys could please vote for my beautiful girl.

My book is closed! I cannot accommodate any more clients at this time. Thank you to the wonderful community I am proud to be a part of. I thought it would take a good year to get to this stage and I have accomplished this in 6 months and mostly through word of mouth!

Hey Everyone, I hope you and your pooches have been staying cool these past few days. I for one am very glad of the cool change! I think Sophie (I’m sure everyone now knows Soph the attack poodle 🤣🤣) is even happier as she absolutely hates the heat.

So, this post is for anyone who is thinking about booking but hasn’t been to me before. I am only available Tuesday and Wednesday mornings although I’m often grooming until around 1.30/2pm. I’m also a slow groomer as I work with the dog. Some need more time due to anxiousness or perhaps it’s their first ever groom. I also only have one dog in at a time as most dogs settle better that way and I can give them my undivided attention 😊. I consider myself to be good at what I do and I pride myself on my finishes. Please don’t hesitate to book, I try to make sure no one misses out.

Hey Everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year. I’m back next week and taking bookings for mid February. So, would any of my “people’s” be interested in buying treats for their pooches on drop off or pick up? If so, what would you like to see me have in stock? I have a regular drop off of treats every few weeks for my own girls. I can get all sorts and they are all natural. For instance, pigs ears, veal tails, pigs wi***es, roo tendons, liver, chicken jerky, beef jerky, beef pizzles plus soooo much more! My prices will also be very reasonable. I’m also happy to stock or get in the shampoos I use and also colognes, brushes, combs etc. If you could comment with what you would like to see here I will get some prices together and we can go from there 😊🐩🐩😘

Just a heads up to my peoples here down south, I am having some time off from now until part way through January to spend some time with my family as my son is coming home for a few weeks. I am also fully booked now until February 13th. I will open a cancellation list in the new year for anyone who has missed out.

Hi Everyone, So I have no more available appointments for the rest of the year and my book is closed until next year. I’m sorry for those that have missed out. What might be best in the future is to book your next appointment when you are here to pick up your pooch. This way you shouldn’t miss out. This will also help me as then I will have a better idea if I can accept new clients….I don’t want my current clients to miss out 😊. Cheers Janet and Sophie

I’ve had a couple of people ask about nail cutting 😊. All of my clients get free nail trims in between grooms. Just let me know when you’d like to pop in and we can go from there.

Miss Rosie was in for a full groom today. She was a little unsure at first but soon came round and I ended up getting a few kisses. She is sooo soft and has the most lovely eyes 😍

Maggie came in today for a pre spring pamper! She had a bath, blow dry, tidy up and a mani pedi. She went home smelling like watermelon. Such a sweet girl who’s tail never stopped wagging the entire time.

Hey everyone 👋 so Precious Puppies is now down South! I will be ready to take on a small amount of dogs in a few weeks…..our carport is currently full of unpacked boxes but it shouldn’t be for much longer. Ok, so here’s a bit about me!
I’ve been grooming for 14 years and groomed in a vet clinic alongside grooming from home and had a loyal band of amazing clients some of whom are going to make the trek from Lewiston all the way up here so I can continue to look after their fluffy family members grooming needs. I will be grooming Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from our fully enclosed carport and I will only be grooming 4 or possibly 5 dogs a week. I only groom one on one (unless it is a 2 dog household) as I find the more anxious pooches tend to be more relaxed this way. I’m also aiming at getting clients on a 6 to 8 weekly schedule. I offer basic short clip offs through to more styled and scissored grooms and take great pride in my work. I have 2 poodles one of who is my assistant/sidekick/receptionist and greeter and she loves to get everyone’s attention for loves and cuddles. If you think I sound like the groomer for you please reply to this post or shoot me a pm and I will reply as I can.

Hey Everyone, Well, we are moving and the time for me to close my shed door is drawing close. I have a list of groomers who are happy to take on new clients and I will list them on here so watch this space. I will still be grooming for the next few weeks but I urge you if you can get in with another groomer then please do so as you will be able to get on a schedule with them. Many of us are booked out for weeks and if you leave it till the last minute you will likely be disappointed. I’m also struggling physically now the colder weather is closing in and I have to think of myself for a change. I hope you can all understand. ###
