🩺 1. Health Comes First
“All my babies come from health-tested lines, and I’m super picky with what stays in my program. Clear genetics, strong immune systems, steady growth — it all matters.”

💖 2. Temperament (my biggest priority!)
“I want cats who genuinely LOVE people. Snuggly, confident, social little babies who enjoy being handled — these are the cats I want to pass on to future generations.”

📐 3. Structure & Type
“That classic Siamese/Oriental elegance — long lines, big ears, wedgy head, strong chin, lovely profile. Not every kitten gets the full package, and that’s okay!”

✨ 4. Coat & Colour
“A beautiful, glossy coat and correct colour development tells me a lot about genetics, health, and future potential.”

🌸 5. The ‘X-Factor’
“Some kittens just have that presence. The moment they walk into a room you go, ‘Yep… that one’s special.’ Every breeder knows that feeling.”

🌸 The Dangers of Lilies – Which Plants to Avoid for Cat Households 🌸

They might look beautiful in a vase… but lilies are deadly to cats. 🚫🐱
Even a tiny amount of pollen, a sip of water from the vase, or a lick of fur after brushing against a lily can cause acute kidney failure.

If you share your home with cats, keep all lilies far away — that includes:
🚫 Easter lilies
🚫 Tiger lilies
🚫 Asiatic and Day lilies
🚫 Peace lilies (not a true lily, but still toxic)

It’s always safer to stick to cat-friendly flowers like roses, orchids, sunflowers, or gerberas. 🌼

A simple choice at the florist could save a life. 💕

☀️Summer Heat Safety for Cats☀️

Aussie summers can get hot! ☀️😿
While we love the sunshine, our cats feel the heat much faster than we do — especially the short-coated Siamese and sleek Orientals.

Here are a few ways to keep your cats cool and comfortable this summer:
✅ Always provide shade and fresh water — inside and out.
✅ Cool mats or damp towels are great for lounging on during the hottest part of the day.
✅ Avoid outdoor time in the middle of the day — early mornings or evenings are safest.
✅ Keep airflow moving — open windows (safely screened!) or use fans to help circulate air.
✅ Watch for signs of heat stress: panting, drooling, or lethargy — if you see these, cool your cat gently and contact a vet.

A little extra care goes a long way in keeping your cats happy and safe through summer. 💕
