This little lady flew the coup yesterday, so I posted on my Pet page. The owners received a ph call an hr ago having found Athena in a warehouse in Moonah. What a thrill to hear she is home safely. Thanks to those all involved.

Missing from Tarquin Rd, Honeywood Brighton is 'Chief'. 2 y.o. German Wired Pointer. He has been missing since 27th June which is out of character.
He may have lost his scent after chasing wildlife? Or been picked up as a stray.
He was not lost.
He is wearing collar with council tag & phone no.

Now here is another challenge from Cape York. If i can reunite Ruby whilst mum was in Usa, we all can do it by people power 😉. Please spread.

Bridgit got poisoned by a toad and was treated with fluids. She was in recovery.

She was to be heading home to Tasmania, but disappeared. She may have gone into shock. Hidden under an old queenslander. Become very disorriented. Picked up perhaps by a tourist.

I put a lot of time, passion, effort into my work. When I get phone calls for guidance, Im fair and follow through, manage my page, and ask for a donation to my page .

Most are ecstatic and will donate immediately and we continue a dialogue & updates until a positive result is achieved.

It is not easy to get to north of the state, however, by guiding owners with their pets, such as Pax, just last week, my time is rewarded. The 3 rebels at Pelverata found overnight, and beautiful review. Reward for effort.

Some I have not been compensated a cent, with their pet found with my guidance. So my time was not rewarded and obviously expected for free.

A case I have been on for 12mths, I was on the road and visited 14 times, over 100 km return visit each time, yet I received no fuel, no compensation and paid for out of my pension. Media attention, yet you indist I caused you grief? No, I worked hard!

I requested a donation, & received $50 which is a total insult.

I contacted this person and received a 'blast' and insulting comment that it shows It was all about the money, that I have no heart. I simply deleted it in disgust.

I deserve to be paid just like anyone else for work. Im sure she would be unhappy to go to work & get $50 for a year on the job.

There are 3 donations outstanding to date, just a reminder.

Most do not even query my petty cost.

Ive got a very good track record. Bought many furbabes home simply by phone guidance. Posted pets on my personal page. That is all time, effort.

Id simply like to be respected and receive payment like all who go to work and get a wage.

Thank you to those who have shown that respect and gratitude.

I will try not to feel as condescending for even asking and been shamed for the hundreds of hours I have put into this. Which included writing to every vet hospital statewide.

I am a Pensioner, who started this out of a labour of love, which it still is. I need to be paid for my fuel and time and call out just like any tradie.

Its NOT about the money, as Ive been accused today. Because I ran this 12 mth one and begged simply to get $50. On principle, should not have needed to ask.

Its people like that which makes me want to give up. Its people who ate also critical of my skills, and downgrade me , you know who you are, yet your pet was located.

But then it is simply the most wonderful outcomes and joy that keeps me going..

This is why I ask for support to my business which is to help, with the best tools, to bring your fur babes home.

I will be putting out donation boxes, because on a case by case, I will never say no to a pensioner where donations will cover me in a small way 😉

Pax was found safe today.

He is been trained as a companion dog who responds to a 'clicker'.

Today his owner's took the clicker and a squeaky toy, and his 7 y.o saw him running towards them.
He was a bit reluctant to come close at first.

He was saturated, and had slipped his collar, but still had his harness attached.

We believe he was caught by his lead and broke free.

Ironically, Jess had driven from Burnie to collect my Infared scope and was just leaving Hobart with scope when Pax was found.

Pax's owners had fired up a bbq, so I feel the toy, bbq, and 'clicker' all assisted in luring him.

He has lost weight, but is otherwise well.

One family member became lost and could not hear family calling for him.

for directions of where to meet on location. Elise now has use of Infared scope thanks to Jess & sister who took a day trip from Burnie to Hobart to collect from me.
The generosity and kindness when animals are concerned shows no abounds.

Pax is missing in Waratah (cemetry road vacinity).

Could we have some volunteers please. He would blend into foliage and log colourings yet could be seeking protection under or in a log.

Whatever help you can offer on foot would be greatly appreciated. Dress appropriately for weather conditions.

Even sitting observing with binoculars from a car is great help.

If sighted, take photo and observe until Alisha arrives.

Alert any tourists to area. Share.

Also if someone could provide a portable bbq and slow cook, the scent may lure him.

Do not chase him if sighted, drop to ground take photo and just observe until Alisha arrives Ph 0439 952 942 & just observe.

The secret to them is keeping them charged up.
Will save a lot of heartache when they disappear.

Turbo has been found safe & well.

Thanks to the two who found him, stayed with & fed him until help arrived.

Turbo was 7km along on the track where sighted previously 😉.

As in name, so in nature. 'Turbo' remains at large, and elusive in the Cradle Mountain turn off, and Lemonthyne Lodge area.

He is very fit and has good knowledge of the area, covering some km's in a day.

He has been sighted on occassions, yet remains elusive.

He would be feeding off wildlife, carcasses, road kill.

If sighted, please 'do not chase'.

Drop as low as you can, sit quietly, and offer food. Ph owners immediately on 0415 918 020 and try to wait until they arrive.

'Hunter ' is still missing in Port Sorell area, with no sightings since last Saturday after the storms
He is no threat to farm life coming from a farm himself.
Please check in vehicles, trucks, farm machinery, locked sheds, barns, stables.

Please have a good look around machinery in case he is injured.

'Hunter' is missing in the Latrobe area after a storm on Saturday.

He was last sighted in fight/flight mode in the areas of Frankford & Hermitage Lane.

Previously he was up near the Equestrian centre to Chaplins Lane, Bakers Lane, Squeaking Point area.

He is no threat to livestock.

If your dog's become disturbed, it may be Hunter seeking out company.

If he is sighted, please remain calm & quiet and take a photo and phone Kate 0400 394 941.

Do not chase.

Of course, judging by his happy smiling face, if you sit quietly and he comes to you, contain him safely until he can be collected.

Last night I assisted in the search for the two renegades lost in Huon Valley , I had very strong instincts. Advised owner exactly what to do. It was carried out, and I just received the message the trail I asked them to make worked 😂. Both dogs home safe. Sorry, I will put the post up when I find it. Home within 12 hours.

I do not necessarily need to be present to resolve some cases, and following my guidelines has worked on countless occassions. Another Happy ending 😄

The cold days are coming 😩❄️☃️
Over Winter it becomes very hard for me to keep on top of the dogs’ washing. Muddy paw prints on everything etc 😒 I can get most of the washing done fairly quickly, but I often can’t get it all dry promptly in the colder weather ☁️⛅️🌧️
I’m hoping to stock up on LARGE dog blankets and LARGE dog beds so there’s enough spares to give me a bit of leeway. 😴 Old doonas and cot mattresses are also an amazing help.
If anybody has some pre-loved or unwanted blankets, doonas and/or beds, please keep us in mind!
We are also always very grateful for any donated greyhound sized rugs & coats.

We have drop off points in New Norfolk, New Town & Montrose (near Glenorchy), and depending on location, I can hopefully collect or organise a meeting/drop off point in other regions. 🐾
