Home from the ACF National Cat Show 2024
Cali once again travelled like a dream
And Carolyn and I finally sat in the same room watching our Girl do her thing
It was amazing to finally put a face to the voice.
And I also had the chance to talk to the many facebook friends I have made through cats 😁😁

Yesterday was Tasfelines Cat of the Year
Cali has now earned enough challenges to be known as

3rd Best kitten Group 2 (only a few shows before she aged out)
RES best Adult Group 2 (not a full year as a adult )
She now has a couple mths break before the next show season starts Massive thank to Australia for their support

Do We Blame Breeders for FIP?
The answer in no!
There is evidence to prove that in a smallnumbert of case, genetics can play a part. We also know that certain breeds and groups of cats and kittens are more predisposed to FIP than others.
1) Rescue and shelter cats and kittens
2) British
3) Maine C***s
4) Birmans
5)Ragdoll
6) Devons
7)Sphynx
8) Bengals
We cannot explain why some breeds mutate easier than others.
There are many factors that come into play, causing some cats and kittens to mutate.
Building a strong, healthy immune system is the key, a good diet, and keeping your baby stress free.
