Update : Adopted 5/6/24
Daisy has such a quizzical look. Maybe she’s wondering how long she’ll have to stay at our Burnie Home? Only you, the Great Tasmanian Public, can give her the answer she seeks.
She’s a Beagle who weighs a dainty 11kg and will be a year old in September. We’re told she is toilet trained but hasn’t had any other training — thankfully she is young and enthusiastic and, with the Beagle love of food, should be an ideal candidate for treat-based training.
“Daisy is a very lovable, social pup who loves people, cuddles and playtime,” her information states. “She’s goofy and always wants your attention.”
This energetic, busy girl likes the Big Three of toys: rope, squeaky and soft. She’s playful and friendly with other dogs, so much so that staff say “she does not like to be returned to her pen and will always put on her brakes”. Girlfriend just knows her mind!

Every dog is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and has had a standard health check. Each dog has also been behaviourally assessed.
To visit the dogs at our Burnie Home, please click the link below to schedule an appointment. Appointments allow us to regulate the number of people in the adoption area, minimising stress for the dogs. Kindly be aware that as dogs are adopted throughout the day, we cannot guarantee the presence of a specific dog during your visit. Additionally, it is mandatory for all family members, including other dogs, to participate in a meet and greet with the dog prior to adoption. If you plan to adopt on the day of your visit, please bring everyone along and mention it in your booking.
