We're back at Tasmanian Racing Club Inc today with a team of six.

CRACK THE SHUTTERS was very impressive on debut running 2nd in the Elwick Stakes to ZANY GIRL, she gets her chance again in the Kevin Sharkie Tasbred Maiden.

FLUFFY'S GIRL is having her first run in Tasmania for Graeme Gathercole and there's four more familiar faces to watch out for!

The Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale is only a few days away! As the leading trainer of two year olds in the state, Stu knows what it takes to turn a yearling into an early performing 2YO.

For three years in a row, our stable has dominated two year old racing in Tasmania with NEEDS SUGAR and GEEGEES MISTRUTH, both winning the "Tasmanian Two Year Old of the Year" award (2023 & 2024) and ZANY GIRL looks to be a strong contender for the 2025 accolade, after winning three of the four 2YO races this season.

What a terrific weekend for our stable with 4 winners, 2 2nds and a 3rd! Including our first Group 3 win with GEEGEES MISTRUTH!! πŸ™Œ

Cup Day brought us two winners with a runaway win in the Tasbred 1200m Maiden for GEEGEES HAILSTORM and a very tight finish to get 1st and 3rd in the Class 5 1200m with our very own GOLDEN MEADOW and GEEGEES ME BOY in a 3 way photo.

Well done to our team and a shout out to Bronte McShane who rides all GG Hailstorm's work πŸ™Œ

Here we go again.... we have prepared a team of 5 for Hobart Cup Day, including our very talented GEEGEES GEMSTONE who will run in the Thomas Lyons Stakes, with Anthony Darmanin in the saddle.

Ben Melham will partner SHE'S SLICK, who has recently joined the stable and is having her first run in the state, whilst Jamie Melham will jump aboard GEE GEES ME BOY.

ZANY GIRL will run in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic over 1200m. ZANY GIRL (Nelly) was purchased by Prime Thoroughbreds Pty Ltd at last year's Magic Millions Tasmanian Sale for $65,000 from Armidale Stud. She has now returned over $145,000 in prizemoney after winning all three of her starts. We're hoping she can make it 4 from 4 today 🀞
