Pups & Prose week is back!

Rest in between play time is so important for allowing your pups to regulate their energy throughout the day, we will be holding Reading & Rest sessions everyday as a part of Pups & Prose week. 📖😴

We are also holding a competition for Best Dressed
Dog! Dress your pup up in a costume of your choice for a chance to win a hamper of treats & goodies! 🍪🦴🧸

Our lovely team will be selecting their favourite costume so get creative! We are looking forward to seeing them all🤩🧡

It’s about time we formally introduce Luke!

Many of you already know him as our Daycare Manager here at Hobart and we are pleased to announce that this year Luke has taken on the role of Cluster Manager for Kip Daycare sites across Tasmania & South Australia!

It’s not surprising that Luke was also named Leader of the Year for 2023 across all Kip sites in Australia 🥳
We all admire the dedication, enthusiasm & compassion Luke brings to the company and can’t wait to see what he achieves in 2024.

Taya

What pets do you have?
I have a Staffy X Border Collie called Sugar Kaine and a little Chihuahua X Poodle named Archer.

How long have you been working at Kip?
I have worked at Kip for almost 2 years now.

Favourite or dream dog breed?
I would love to have a Husky one day and Staffy’s will always be my favourite dogs.

Best part of working at Kip?
All the different dogs I get to meet and getting to know all their different personalities.

Around two and a half years.

Since working here I’ve grown to like Weimaraners.

Best part of working at Kip?
Seeing dogs and owners happily reunite at the end of the day.

We are pleased to announce that Ellie will be stepping up to the role of Assistant Daycare Manager at Hobart! The love and care that Ellie provides to our daycare dogs is unquestionable and you will always find her with a smile on her face and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. She comes in to the role with a massive amount of enthusiasm and we can’t wait to see what she achieves in 2024! 🐶

What pets do you have?
Padfoot the Newfoundland, and two cats - Nuka and Obsidian.

How long have you been working at Kip?
Since early 2022

Favourite or dream dog breed:
For now, Newfoundlands. But when I’m ready to downsize I would love a Bernese Mountain Dog.

Best part of working at Kip:
Having those small moments of bonding with the dogs - a shy dog that shelters behind your legs, a dog that was wary of you come up for cuddles, or a dog who has just arrived and you are the first thing they’re excited to see. Moments like that.

What pets do you have?
I have a Toy Poodle named Luna, two Kelpies named Rommy and Jaffa, and a Border Collie named Biddy. I also have lots of farm animals like chickens, cows and sheep!

How long have you been working at Kip?
I’ve been working at Kip since April 2022, so just over a year and a half😊

Favourite or dream dog breed:
Dachshunds would have to be my favourite because they have such silly and bossy personalities, but there are so many other dog breeds I would love to have!

Best part of working at Kip:
The dogs of course! Watching and helping dogs to grow their confidence in daycare is so rewarding, and they all have such different personalities which makes for a really fun working environment!

What pets do you have?
I have a cat named Rio and a parrot named Pablo! I also have three chickens.

How long have you been working at Kip?
I’ve been working at Kip since October 2021, so 2 years!

Favourite or dream dog breed:
The list is endless! I love large breeds the most. My absolute favourites are Dobermans and Border Collies!

Best part of working at Kip:
I love forming friendships with all the different dogs, and getting to meet a range of interesting breeds! I also value the many skills I’ve learned, like dog behaviour. Everyday of work is different and exciting!
