We are thrilled to announce that our Practice Manager/Owner Lauren has welcomed Dr Sam on board as part owner! We are all so excited to work with the both of them to see what the future holds for the clinic as far as updated services, knowledge for helping your pets and new opportunities for us as team members.

To add to this, as of this week Dr Sam has been officially working with us for 9 years, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate her anniversary! Sam is an amazing vet, with lots of experience and she was already a huge asset to the clinic as a whole, a role model to all of our team, and a respected veterinarian among our clients.

Congratulations Dr Sam on your anniversary and new partnership!

We are thrilled to announce Cassie Dunlop as one of the recipients of the 2025 VNCA Professional Development Scholarships!

Cassie began her veterinary nursing career in 2018 and has shown an incredible passion for continuous learning and growth. 🚨CHANGES TO OUR AFTERHOURS SERVICE🚨

In order to enable us to sustain servicing the community 24/7, we have decided to acquire the assistance of a triaging service to answer our calls out of hours.
Please note we continue to value our shared on call agreement with Furlife Horsham to ensure there will always be an available vet in times of emergency. The process of calling after hours will also not change, in that you will still need to call our regular clinic number on 5381 1996 and you will be diverted to speak to the triage service.
Those of you who have our after hours number saved will no longer be able to get through to us if you direct dial that phone.

We thank you in advance for adapting to this new change, as we learn to adapt to it as well. However, rest assured we are still committed to providing emergency afterhours care to you and your pets at all times.

Here are our top 12 tips for keeping your pets safe this Christmas! πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸ½

It can be a busy time for a lot of us but these are some important things to keep in mind so that our dogs and cats remain safe, calm, and be able to enjoy the hectic holiday period with you as well.

Your Family Vet will be closed on Public Holidays, but if you have an emergency out of business hours, as always call the clinic on 5381 1996 and have a pen ready to write down the emergency number.
