🌍🐾 **Today, December 10, is International Animal Rights Day!** 🐾🌍

A day to reflect on the incredible connection we share with animals and the responsibility we hold to ensure their safety, dignity, and happiness. 🐕🐈🐘

From the loyal wag of a dog’s tail to the majestic flight of a bird, animals enrich our world in countless ways. Let’s take a moment to appreciate their beauty, their individuality, and their role in making our planet extraordinary.

Today, we celebrate the idea that all animals—big and small, wild and domestic—deserve to live without fear or suffering. 💚

survive up to 152 days in water*?

This means drinking from that innocuous puddle or
garden pond could pose a serious health threat to
your dog.

Meet Nurse Katie. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to make your pets stay in hospital as comfortable as possible. Currently studying her Cert 4 in vet nursing she has a special interest in canine rehabilitation and nutrition so you will often see her cold lasering a dog or exercising them on the underwater treadmill. Out of work she loves all things Territorian- fishing and camping! We are very grateful to have her as part of the team at Girraween Vets!

Shep was super brave having his surgery today. Of course it helps when you get lots of cuddles from the nurses!
