Please be aware of these new requirements when renewing your membership and we are always here to help you!
📢 Help us shape the future of your sport 📢
When you sign up as a member for 2025 you will notice some changes to the renewal process. We’re taking the next step in shaping the future of polocrosse by gathering important demographic data about our members. This allows us to benchmark our sport against industry standards, support grant applications at both state and national levels, and opens doors for new funding opportunities to grow our sport. 🌟
During the membership renewal process, you will be prompted by the database to answer a range of questions.
What we want to know:
🔹 How remote you are: (e.g. major cities, remote)
🔹 Your employment status: (e.g. full-time, retired)
🔹 Your level of education: (e.g. university degree, trade qualification)
🔹 Your household structure: (e.g. younger family, single/couple — no children)
🔹 Whether you are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin
🔹 The main language you speak at home
🔹 Whether you have any disability or physical condition
🔹 Your annual household income (optional)
🔹 Your gender (optional)
Your privacy is our priority! 🛡️
Rest assured we’ve implemented advanced security measures to ensure your information is encrypted and accessible only to you and our National Executive Officer (NEO). State-level reports will show generalised data, never individual details.
Why is this important?
✔️ It aligns with requests from some State sporting organisations (SSOs).
✔️ It strengthens the case for grants, helping us secure resources to improve and expand polocrosse for everyone.
✔️ It gives us insights to better understand our members and their diverse needs.
It’s quick, easy, and helps us build a stronger future for polocrosse in Australia! 🌏🏇
