Hello Everybody,

Here are the draws for this weekend. 1pm start on Friday for the preworks.
8.00am start Saturday and 08.30am start Sunday.
The fancy dress segment will be on Saturday evening and the Hi point presentations will be at the conclusion of Sundays events. I have attached a copy of the Hi Point geldings AQHA papers for enthusiasm!
Dont forget to sign a waiver prior to riding.

At this stage we only have 3 brave souls who are going in the fancy dress…….

Entries close for the last fun show of the year on Tuesday the 12th at 9 pm so get your entries in.
There will be no food available so make sure you bring something to eat and drink….
There will be an urn and tea coffee available in the shed. We will have some snacks/ finger food( nothing extravagant) on Sunday when we do the hi point presentation.
Can all the people who are going to have some fun in the fancy dress on sat night send me your chosen music please. Remember it is mechanical cow preworks only on Sunday morning @ $15 for 5 mins ( with Richards instruction if needed). Patterns will go up as soon as I have done them.😅😅

🐎🐄🐎🐄 FINAL CLINIC FOR 2024 🐄🐎🐄🐎

A few spots have become available in our LAST horsemanship/ cutting clinic for the year due to cancellations. This clinic was not initially advertised as it was pre-filled so if anyone would like a spot please contact us. The clinic dates are 30th November and 1st December. The clinic covers the necessary horsemanship related to working cattle, mechanical cow and live cattle working. This clinic is suited to anyone from the basics of learning how to work cattle and start your horse on cattle or learning how to achieve a rewarding partnership working cattle with your horse in whatever cow related discipline you choose.Includes morning tea and lunch both days, free camping $550 all inclusive.
There will be no more clinics until February/ March next year.

Hello Everyone! Spring is in the air🐎🐄🌾🌻🌞

Entries are now open for our final fun show for this year. 15th,16th and 17 th November

We will have preworks with live cows on the Friday only. Mechanical cow will be available to work on Sunday morning for anyone that wishes to @ $15 for 5 minutes. Just write mechanical on the
entry form.
Programme will be the same as usual ( dependent on numbers) with the Preworks, herd and one on one on Friday afternoon. Saturday will start with the dry work and reined cowhorse pattern, followed by the Novice Snaffle Bit cutting, the Open Snaffle Bit cutting and the Have A-Dig.

Since it is our final show for the year and the decider for our Hi Point Awards there will be an ex tra feature fun event on the Saturday evening. Previously featured a couple of years ago we had the fancy dress themed mechanical cow skits where you selected a theme, picked your music, performed a short dry work pattern related to your theme and finished off by working the mechanical cow! Extra points given to those that ride bare back😂. So if you would like to partake in this fun shoot me a message with your selected music.

Sunday will start with the mechanical cow option mentioned earlier in this post, followed with the Box- Drive-Box, One on One Beginner and Youth. Novice, Open SB and Have ADig.
Following this we will have the presentation of our Hi Point Awards, including the handing over of the AQHA gelding “ Destined To Be Bleu” to the overall winner.

Fujimi from the local pub has offered to provide breakfast and lunch both days but we need to have an EOI as to whether it would be worth her while and would be supported. So if everyone could give us a Yeah or Nay as soon as possible or pass on your thought to us in order to make the right decision.

Hi everyone, just a reminder for those coming to the October 19/20 clinic that payment is now due if you have not already paid. The weather should be warming up for you all! We still have a few places left in our November 2nd and 3rd clinic if anyone is interested. Clinics include morning tea and lunch both days. Covers Horsemanship required to work cattle, mechanical cow and live cattle. These clinics cater for all levels- starting horses on a cow to how better to control the cow when working. Get yourself ready for all the upcoming cowhorse and cattle working shows.
Camping is free and there are toilets,showers and BBQ facilities for you to use in the evening.
$550 all inclusive.
Our final Fun show for this year will be on the 15/16 & 17 th of November….further details to come!!

Hi everyone,

Here are the draws for this weekend’s fun show.
Please make sure you sign a waiver BEFORE you ride your horse. They will be on the announcers table.
Fujimi from The Farmhouse restaurant at the Illabo Hotel has fantastic meals for dinner and is prepared for us to go on Friday and or Saturday evening however she has asked if we could call her with some numbers. If anyone is keen to go come up to the announcers table and I will have a list for you to put your name down.
For anyone wishing to stay on ground there are also a BBQ and microwave available for your use.
Once again remember to bring your own daytime food and drinks.

Doesn’t seem that long ago since our last fun show in August BUT it’s time for the next one already.

September 13th, 14th and 15th. Starting on Friday with herd and one on one preworks.
