We concentrate on effective leadership through "correct" ground work. Many people go through the motions without truly understanding the purpose of the exercises and how they translate to the saddle, or other aspects of being with t

Dear friends, a message from Faith:
As many of you know, I am no longer a part of Drifting Sands Horsemanship, a passion project that I put much of myself into over the past 10 years. My beautiful HEART horses and I are continuing on a new journey at "Horse Mind and Heart"
on Facebook and Instagram. (links in comments)
There are already a few posts on the new page that will give you a feel for where this page will lead you and, hopefully, inspire you!

Life can be challenging, and I have faced my share! I hope I can inspire you to believe that the universe always has bigger and better plans, but only if you listen and believe in the path set in front of you.
Open your heart and accept that it is all for a reason.
Until next August, I am available at "no charge" to help you gain confidence with your horses and deepen your connection with them.
I can offer accommodations (Barossa Valley) for those who wish to have an immersive experience over multiple days. Whether you are a beginner, experience or even totally non-horsey, I'm here to support you on your journey.

Drifting Sands proudly presents a lovely TB gelding who has been though our extensive quality program of groundwork and ridden exercises. He has been here for 10 weeks and has proven himself to be a sensible quiet horse. 6yo 15.2hh.
Good to float, trim (barefoot). Up to date with chiro, feet and worming. Paddocks well with other horses- very friendly and is the first up to you in the paddock.
Three nice gaits, works in a frame and understands laterals. Plus he seems willing to jump! No vices. Is suitable for a beginner but only with a lesson package. He will be a great partner for the right person. Videos available.
