Moree today brought some tough competition, but our boys Banner Lad, Lesgo Don, and Waydie still made the trip worthwhile!

❤️Banner Lad unfortunately had all opportunities to show us his true potential, but didn’t kick through his gears. We appreciate Wendy Peel for riding him and giving him the opportunity.

💙Waydie faced a challenging race but gave it his all, finishing mid-field with Leeshelle Small giving him an economical chance!

💚Lesgo Don had quite the hype leading up to his run, and he delivered! Ella Drew came all the way to Moree for one ride, and she and Donny crossed the line in front!

A huge thank you to everyone for their support and encouragement, and special thanks to the owners of all three horses for being there!

💛🖤Meddlesome has finally claimed her maiden victory after four starts and four thirds! She got to the lead this morning at Tamworth and there she stayed the whole way and took out the Oatley Wines Maiden Plate by 2.4 lengths, thanks to Cristian Reith’s fantastic ride.
Now she’s relaxing in the paddock, enjoying a well-earned break.

Yesterday, we ventured to Warwick where Gerety delivered a commendable performance, securing second place in the 800 metre Gross Wholesale Meats Class 3 Plate with Les Tilley aboard. She will now enjoy a well-deserved break.
Hiraishin faced a tough race in the Warwick Newmarket Benchmark 70 Handicap but gave it his all. We are grateful to Jade Metcalfe for her dedication in ensuring he crossed the finish line safely.

I am away and forgot to post abouth the last start runners at the Bundarra meeting which were held at Armidale on Saturday.

💙Waydie the first runner of the day came home with the win of the Bundarra General Store Class 1 Handicap! Leeshelle Small riding him a treat and getting her third winner for the day! 👏

Libby and Banner Lad started in the Gold Maiden.
💛Libby improved greatly achieving third place with Claire Ramsbotham teaching her the ropes!
❤️Banner Lad also getting the hang of racing and had a good run with Peter Graham educating him along the way!

💚Lesgo Don had Billy Cray aboard and achieved a fourth for our last race runner of the day.

🩷Joey the barns favourite c**t has his race name and made it to the trails! Exoflow went around with Wendy Peel being very well behaved especially since this was all new! Joey passed his trial and with have a couple more to further his racing education.

As per usual thank you to everyone who helped out at the races, including all the jockeys, those who helped with transportation and the others that stuck around in Inverell to feed up there!

💛🖤We just got home from a trip with Gerety to Grafton, who finished the three days of racing with a good fourth!
Keen for a quiet few days before all the racing begins again!

Today at Armidale the team had four runners! Each horse had their owners there to watch them go around!

Race One - We had Cassey on Libby and Millie on Banner Lad, both made their debut running first and second at the wrong end! They have a bit more to pick up but should get the hang of it with practice!

Race Two - Meddlesome knocked off yet another third with Cassey Williams in the saddle!

Race Four - Mollie Fitzgerald rode Swanbrook Gem to victory winning the 1100 metre maiden and making her owners very happy! A few tears were shed! 🩷🖤

Thank you to the three jockeys for putting them through their paces!

Thank you to all of our owners for your support today and transportation services!

Today we had runners in both NSW & QLD!
I (Sarra) went to Talwood with Harry and Ridge went to Barraba with Waydie & Donny!
We all returned to the stable safely with two wins and a second!
💙Waydie won his maiden at Barraba with Cassey Williams steering him to victory!
💛Hiraishin won the cup at Talwood with Zoe Hunt onboard and had the red dust flying!
❤️Lesgo Don ran an impressive second for being new to the stable and getting the swing of our routine!
Overall the team’s first double win & a second for the day makes it a good day!
Thanks to all our jockeys & strappers and a big thank you to Brodie for your car & float for the Barraba trip!

🦄POSITION CURRENTLY FILLED🦄

👀Looking for yet another casual stablehand to join a growing team!

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, trustworthy and most importantly, reliable.
We are needing someone who isn’t afraid to get there before the sun in the morning and sometimes come back in the afternoon to do it all again.
You do need to be willing to work with and confident around horses.

Please note you will need to be willing to obtain a stablehand license and are required to complete a horse safe course, have a reasonable police check and complete required documents according.

Duties include but not limited to:
🏇Cleaning multiple stables & day yards
🐎Keeping the barn in a reasonable state
🏇Cleaning out & re-filling waters
🐎Making up feeds
& more, although there is opportunity for more work with the horses for the right person.

This position is physically demanding as you are lifting & carrying heavy items as well as mucking out and turning over multiple stables.

This position isn’t going to suit students or 9 to 5 people due to the hours we are needing.
