Sad day for me today, as my work with BackTrack Youth Works comes to an end.

Working with the Paws Up team from the early days, to develop an understanding of dog behaviour, handling skills and dog training with young people going through the program, since 2006.
Thank you Bernie & Francesca, and all of the Backtrack team, for the opportunity to be part of the family. I will always be proud of the work you do.

Thank you also for the wonderful gifts and kind words, both today at my last class and at the AGM last month.
A guard of honour of young people and staff in uniform, all with dogs, as I arrived at Suncrest today was almost too much for an old doggie like me.
To all the young people I've met over the years, don't ever walk past me in the street without a smile and a wave, I WILL embarras you if you do 😁

Deborah & Bailey celebrated completing Pet Manners Beginners today. Bailey was an anxious dog when he arrived into Deborah's life at the end of October and he has now completely adapted to his new wonderous life. The videos show that, in week 2, Bailey mastered the STAY command whilst Deborah walked around him. Awesome work guys!

Congratulations to Margot & Chilli who placed 3rd in CCD at Newcastle Dog Obedience trial last night on a lovely score of 92/100!!
Jan & Tao also performed well in the Open class but made a mistake on the Distance Control exercise at the end.
Well done to you both! And good luck today!!

Today was our last day in Inverell for 2024. A great group of dogs and handlers with fantastic progress in Pet Manners Beginners and in Level 2. Unfortunately, grandmother duties meant both Gail and Sonia were away. At the end of both classes the dogs had some fun getting to know each other better! Hope to see everyone in 2025!
