Ever have a moment during a ride where you think you should give up?
Getting back on is the only way to reach your goals and dreams! You will never succeed if you keep holding on to the fear of something going wrong.
Keep dreaming and keep riding!

Teen camp day 3!
Today the girls are testing out the new xc course and getting used to riding in open spaces.
Later today they are going to be having fun with games races!
This is why I teach my clients to learn to slip their reins and regrab them quickly on the move!!
This was in a speed round/jump off course and I sent Blue into the double with only 2 strides to figure it out before the first jump... we came in on a long spot (too far away from the jump) and he took the leap, I rode defensively and sat back, slipped the reins and let him do his job. I was then just riding with my seat and legs for the 2nd jump which he also had to then take long. If I had of kept my reins short I would have been flung forward, he would have been well within his right to stop at the 2nd jump and toss me off!
But i kept my balance which allowed him to keep his balance and figure out the jumps. Then you can see me quickly regain my reins then get it wrong again and get a deep spot to the brick wall! π€¦ββοΈ
Point of this post is that things can go wrong quickly and you can't fix it once it has happened but you can stay out of your horses way and let them do their job. I will post another video of the non speed round and what it looks like when you get it right.
Meet Saffy!
Saffy has come to hang out with us for a while (possibly longer...) she is being used in the riding school to help her owners out. Brydie got to have a play on her yesterday and fell in love already!
Brydie did an amazing job and Saffy is helping her to find her seat in the canter.
Sorry for all the clicking π.. I have a problem when teaching slow horses π

One of our little project ponies getting rebroken and one of our students Ella learning how to break in a pony. Win win for everyone! And what an awesome little pony this one will be!!
Doesn't look like much yet, but this is the end of day 1 of building our cross country course!
Super excited to get it finished so everyone can enjoy it. There will be a lot of different things to try!
