Safe Haven do great work. If you’re looking for a new furry friend please consider taking a rescue. They are always looking for people to foster dogs/cats too, till they can be rehomed permanently. We all know what happens to a dog or cat that can’t be rescued and there are so many these days. Please think about it

One of the most frustrating things we find with dog adoptions is people returning their rescue within days...sometimes even hours!
It's upsetting for everyone but especially the dog. They're barely given time to work out why they've been ripped from their foster family when this stranger, who seemed really happy initially, is acting upset & taking them back.
We understand it's not always a good fit & we don't want people keeping a dog who'll never fit in but please, if you're adopting a rescue, familiarise yourself with the 3-3-3 rule! It's not always accurate but it's a great guide & will help you understand just how tough this is on your new family member.
Keep in mind that the adoption was YOUR decision, not theirs.
Be patient. Be realistic. And above all...Be kind. 💜

Had to put these pics up. This is Roobee. I walked her 3 times a week for 9 years till she moved away about 12 months ago. She turned 18 a few days ago and her dad sent me these pics.Made me cry. Miss you Roobee!

This is pip. She’s 15 and walks 5 days a week with me. Not long ones but she’s doing it. I’ve taken her to quite a few different places. But Cameron’s park is her fav. Lots of food scent and lots of shade.

Let’s not forget this guy. Keep an eye out. He has very distinctive markings. Every time you see a dark coloured shepherd check for these markings.

Starting again. Facebook has deleted my old facebook account. Something to do with it being an older account. Tried to do what they required to keep it going but apparently I wasn’t very good at that lol. So my 5 star rating is gone and all my pics and posts and reviews. So I’ll be trying to put up some doggie pics and posts as soon as I can. Facebook was never my strong point anyway. Cute doggie pics coming soon…….
