We had a call out to Bellbird Park last night to relocate a Brown and Yellowish snake from a kitchen, whilst on the phone to the customer it went into the pantry, our customer did all the right things and we didnt even have to advise them what to do.
They immediately closed the door and placed a rolled up towel under the bottom of door to help keep the snake contained until we arrived.
Upon arrival, we were faced with another Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis) Highly Venomous and capable of a fatal bite if provoked and left untreated
Thanks to this customer's quick thinking, we were able to quickly catch the Eastern Brown and relocate into a much more suitable location for the snake and the family.
As you can see, there are snakes out and about everywhere. Please do not touch a snake yourself and risk a fatal bite. Leave it to the professionals. Save our number before you need it and share it with your family and friends 0478 432 277

A quick little release video of the cute little Golden-Crowned Snake
The Golden-crowned Snake (Cacophis squamulosus) is weakly venomous. When cornered, these snakes flatten their heads, arch the neck strongly, and make a series of striking movements with a closed mouth but rarely actually bite.
It is nocturnal and very secretive.
It feeds at night. It searches for sleeping lizards by scent, taking them from their night-time retreats. It may also eat frogs and blind snakes.
Please remember that snakes should only be handled or relocated by individuals who possess the necessary permits or licenses.

We relocated this gorgeous Keelback snake (Tropidonophis mairii) from One Mile.
Some interesting facts about Keelbacks are:
Keelbacks are Australia's only non-venomous, semi-aquatic snake. They are often confused with the dangerously venomous Rough-Scaled Snake.
The keelback is active during the day (diurnal) and the night (nocturnal) depending on the temperature.
They deter potential predators by excreting a foul-smelling musk when threatened.
Keelbacks only feed on vertebrates, such as frogs, tadpoles, and lizards.
They use their sharp, backward curved teeth to seize their prey. Unlike other snakes who eat their prey head first, keelbacks consume their prey from the rear.
They have a limited immunity to toad toxins and can successfully prey on small to medium-sized cane toads.

We had a call out to Karalee to get this big healthy Eastern Brown (Pseudonaja textilis) Highly Venomous
It was first spotted by our client in the garage where they stood guard watching the space until our arrival but after searching the garage and not locating the suspect, we decided to do a check on some items that were just outside the garage under a tarp - low and behold there it was, just hiding away as scared as our client was. I wish we stop to get a pic of it before we got it into the bag.

A beautiful Coastal Carpet Python- Morelia spilota mcdowelli (Non-venomous) released back into the wild.
Interesting fact - Carpet pythons mostly feed after dark, and they eat smaller animals like possums, birds, and rats.
