Happy New Year!
We had our first Laparoscopic Spay last week; and what a cutie she was.😃
Raya had her Lap spay, hernia repair and 4 baby teeth extracted. A lot in one day. The best place for recovery was on Lisa’s arm, with a lot of cuddles. 🥰

Teddy was our first BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Surgery) surgery at Jacobs Well Vet Surgery!
He was a very brave patient and had a smooth recovery.
The surgery is performed to improve the breathing and airflow in our Brachy breeds.

🏆The Braveheart award goes to Elbie this month! 😽
Elbie was suspected to have been hit by a car and had his left hind leg, distal Tibia and Fibular broken.
It was fixed with a pin and a locking plate at Jacobs Well Veterinary Surgery.
Elbie is doing well and already putting some weight on his fractured leg three days after the surgery.
Well done, Elbie!❤️‍🩹

Introducing the lovely Bear!
This beautiful boy did too many zoomies and sharp turns around the house, hurting and partially rupturing his cranial cruciate ligament, in his left hind leg. The TPLO (Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy) was performed, and we can report Bear is recovering very well.

Last week was first vaccination and microchipping day, for another healthy Cavoodle litter.
This made our son very happy 😊.

⭐️UPDATE:
The girl spent the whole night with us, she was as good as gold, enjoyed being taken for a walk and liked soft food , wasn’t so keen on kibbles though.
Due to our legal obligations we had to surrender her to the pound since no one came forward and she is currently at the Coombabah pound
We’ve got a couple of people interested in her adoption already so hopefully if the owner doesn’t come forward she will find a good home . ❤️
