Meet Moose and Luna, both working line german shepherds.

These two gorgeous dogs belong to trainer Ben from OzcorpK9 ACT

Moose is an 8 month old male and Luna 3 1/2 year old female. Both super smart and eyes only for their dad!

An Adelaide-based dog training academy, OzcorpK9 now also offers training for Canberra dogs.

As a Veteran this is something that appeals to my values.

Integra Service Dogs Australia are doing an awesome job providing PTSD assistance dog’s for ADF Veterans.

Remember, Brandy the Belgian Shepherd? 🐕 ⁣

After being re-homed 3 times, Brandy struggled to find her forever home.⁣
⁣
It’s been more than a month now...

And it’s clear that Brandy’s never been happier living with her forever-owner and trainer, Ken from Integra Service Dogs Australia 👏🏼

Ben Geurts delivers quite the seminar! 👏🏼

Last weekend I attended a Kaizen K9 seminar from Ben Geurts.

The benefits I gained from learning to play with my dog made it more worth the price of attending.

Here are 3 things the seminar helped me enhance:

Getting my dog to release the tug/toy without conflict.

The way I play and engage with my dog.

Maximise their happiness and participation.

All of which I took straight home and applied to the way I play with both of my dogs, Luna and Moose.

If you get the chance, I would highly recommend joining one of his seminars.

There’s always more to learn when it comes to training and building your relationship with your K9 companion.

Love your work, Miko!

Guess where this was taken? ⁣

Miko is a 10-month-old Golden Retriever with some behavioural issues who completed his 3rd session of the Ozdog yesterday 👏🏼⁣
⁣
Except, Miko wasn’t trained in Adelaide.⁣
⁣
He was trained in the ACT by Ben Ruiz, who is a Certified Trainer of ours who is actively spreading the mission of helping more dogs replace unwanted habits with better ones!⁣ 🙌🏼

We miss having Ben in Adelaide, but we’re glad he’s accelerating quickly in the passion he found with us here—first as a client. ⁣
