Gumbo Ya! Ya! has been performing New Orleans rhythm and blues, swing, soul and funk since 1987.
In 1988, Gumbo Ya! Ya! took up residency at an inner city hotel playing to capacity crowds, those Sunday sessions became particularly well known.
This popularity led to supports slots of musical legends like Joe Cocker, BB King, and Ray Charles, cementing their reputation in Australia as one of the greats!!

CANCELLED DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER FORECAST FOR SUNDAY
We are absolutely heartbroken to announce the cancelation of SUMMER SOUNDS with GERMEIN, set to take its maiden voyage this Sunday the 15th of December.
Due to the extreme weather forecast predicted for Sunday, in the best interest of everyone’s safety we have had to make such a difficult call.
I sincerely want to personally thank each and every one of you that purchased tickets and was planning on attending and do hope you will continue to come along to events at the property. Ticket refunds will be issued shortly.

Whilst this is sad news, I am pleased to announce that its not all doom and 41 degree gloom!!!
We are hoping you will join us to kick start the year with a bang and come along on the 1st of January for an afternoon with National Jazz sensation GUMBO YAYA!!!!
Tickets will be available shortly and whilst we can never guarantee the weather, I can guarantee that we will have the best live music, wine and food you would have had in 2025!!!!
But till then, I will be Wishing you the merriest of Merry Christmas’ and we hope to see you on the 1st of January!

Good Evening!

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the very first of our Twighlight Freshmans Series!

Times are approximate but we will try and run as close to as possible! So please ensure you are warmed up and ready to go!

The Course direction will be staying the same for the night so ideally you should only need to walk it the once. But we will allow time for course walks.

4:30- 30cm (First horse on at 4:30-Course walk prior)

4:45-45cm

5:15-60cm

6:00-75cm

6:45-85cm

We will have a white board with order to go, so ensure you check in with the marshall.

Due to the need to run on a tight time line to ensure enough daylight, please ensure you are warmed up ready to go! And if you have three stops at a jump you must skip to the next fence.

Falls must be cleared by the first Aid Officer before re mounting!

Casual Dress-Helmets and boots are a must!

BBQ and drinks available to purchase on the day! CASH ONLY

Take a look at this!!!! Did you know… back in the day the property used to be owned by The South Australian Police and was used as the breeding and training ground for the Mounted Police Greys and Dog operations! During this time it also played host to the Australian Eventing Championship’s and even had TV coverage!!!Whilst the property has significantly changed since then you may still notice some of the old jumps scattered around the property! Take a look at the video below and see the legend that is Sam Stichel tackle the course… even with a neck injury… (from looking at the time)!
