“Sonofaduck”

We are very pleased to present to the market the first of the progeny of Steel Duck. This outstanding 2 year old gelding has been professionally started by Regan and Kathryn Lyons.

Sonny should mature to 15hh. His Dam Rhondhu Ruby Spark was campaigned by Regan in her 3 year old year. She won the Ridgelands futurity draft and also was 1st in the 1st go round of the Paradise Lagoons futurity draft. Regan also successfully competed her at snaffle bit cuttings and cow horse events. Ruby was retired at the end of her 3 year old year due to a paddock injury.

Steel Duck, by Metallic Cat and from the Brecklemans dam line “Duckolena. Steel Duck has been a competitive cutting horse both for pros and non pros. From a 2 year old Spud has been a super athlete with a fabulous mind. His progeny are all showing his temperament and athleticism.

Sonny has had plenty of miles outside and has been started on cattle. He is quiet after a spell and is a delight to have around.
