Wow! We are incredibly busy right now, with multiple new customers inquiring and many regulars trying to book in last minute. If you haven’t booked ahead, please make sure to do so as soon as possible—I’d hate for any of my regulars to miss out!

Cancellations are very rare, so please don’t leave it to the last minute. Book ahead to secure your spot!

If you’re unsure whether you have an appointment, please reach out or check online, just in case something has slipped through the cracks.

Hi everyone,
According to Energex, power won’t be restored until Wednesday, March 12th at 9 PM. I will be rescheduling all appointments to March 13th onwards, hoping power will be back by then.

If anything changes, I’ll keep everyone updated. In the meantime, I’ll be reaching out to rebook appointments. Cloe and I will be working extra hours to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible.

⚡ Power Still Out – Salon Closed for Now ⚡

Unfortunately, we are still without power, which means we can’t open until it’s restored. The bath, blow dryer, and clippers all rely on power, so we’re unable to groom at this time.

We’re also experiencing limited reception and internet, making it difficult to respond to calls and messages. We appreciate your patience and will update everyone ASAP about rescheduling and when we can reopen.

Cyclone Update & Appointment Rescheduling

Dear valued clients,

As many of you are aware, a cyclone is expected to arrive this Thursday. Unfortunately, this means we will need to reschedule appointments. We understand this is inconvenient, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to accommodate everyone as soon as possible.

This has come at a particularly busy time, with Short Paws currently booked out for the next few weeks. As a result, rescheduling may take a little longer than we’d like. Clients affected by the cyclone-related cancellations will be given first priority. If anyone with an upcoming appointment is able to reschedule and isn’t in urgent need of grooming, we would greatly appreciate it—this will help us fit in those who have been displaced.

Cloe and I will also be working extra hours, including our days off, to accommodate as many appointments as possible. However, our top priority is everyone’s safety. We would much rather have a few pups a little overgrown than risk anyone driving in dangerous conditions, including flash flooding and high winds.

At this stage, it is likely that appointments on Thursday, Friday, and possibly Saturday will need to be rescheduled. I will provide further updates as soon as we have more information.

Hi everyone,

With the heat picking up, things are getting very busy here at Short Paws Grooming! We are currently booked out for the next couple of weeks, so please plan ahead to secure your spot.

A quick heads-up about upcoming holidays:
• Keisal (owner): February 11th – February 22nd
• Cloe (stylist): April 2nd – April 22nd

During these times, availability will be limited, so make sure to book in advance if your furry friends need a groom before we completely book out.

Miss Arlo was rescued 10 days ago. This puppy already had a litter of puppies and she’s not even an adult herself! As expected she was very nervous for her first groom since being rescued but she did amazing! Wiggly nervous girl but very loving and gave heaps of kisses! She’ll be amazing for grooming in no time!

Little Mr Spartacus, mum was so worried about him as he gets so nervous and unfortunately can lead to seizures. But he did amazing! We took it nice and slow and gave him plenty’s of rests and cuddles to build his trust with us. Awesome little man 😍
