So you want a Jack Russell because they’re cute, do ya?

Let me tell you. Jack Russells aren’t just cute, they’re bold and strong. They’re bossy and demanding. They have the force of a thunderstorm on a calm summer evening, they hit you that hard - out of no where.

They’re sassy. Don’t you think for once they’re easy to train because they’re not. They’re quick to learn IF there’s something for them to gain. But, if you think they’ll do it just because YOU want them to, think again. They’re blunt and mighty, a tenacious tiny T. rex.

There’s so many layers to a Jack Russell and that’s why they’re so easily misunderstood but also why they survive in the saddest stories of abandonment and mistreatment. They know their worth and will keep pushing through, not for you but for themselves. Because they know how marvelous they are and they hold out waiting for that one human to see exactly what they feel inside - a firecracker of bright colors that’ll draw in such amazement. They’re loud and feisty but beautifully made.

So if you want a Jack Russell simply because they’re cute, I BEG you to study more about the breed. And if you ever find yourself thinking that a Jack Russell is just too much..don’t worry, they’re probably thinking YOU’RE not enough. You’ll gain the goofiest, silliest, naughtiest, and most loyal loving thing in the world. They have a fire within their soul that burns so bright and once they ignite it within you, it’ll never burn out. A Jack Russell will bring you to your knees - they’ll leave you pleading and wondering why you got such a dynamite dog but praying to God that you never have to do without one. 💕
