😩 Ouch

This morning before my day really started😣 I was bringing up a young starter to the yards as I was shutting the non working electric tape gate he took a huge fright at something, he jumped into me sending me flying in that process he got another fright at my flying process ( must’ve been prett wild) so he kicked out getting me right on the left butt this then sent me to the ground which he proceeded to run over me clipping my shoulder 😖 he bolted off while I staggered to my feet to make the walk back down the paddock to catch him he was running silly so obviously he was very nervous about the whole episode. He ran around while I watched and thinking lots of naughty words 🫣. He quickly faced up on his own and trotted to me 🤗.
Was great excuse to find time in my day to go get a massage 💆‍♀️
This is to remind everyone that it can happen so fast and sometimes you just let your guard down like I did. This boy wasn’t doing anything different than last month it was just one of those things all because I let myself be complacent, doing an everyday type thing.
So got through my day slowly got a massage feel better for little while think tomorrow is going to be a sore day I feel it coming on.😩 Picture of the sweet culprit lol 😂

I decided to share my easy feed program that all my horses have.
HyFibre Hyfeed
Soaked Lupins
Salt
H**p oil
Flax oil
Digestive EQ
And Hay at lib good quality Rhodes
All these horses range from 24yrs to 2 yr TBs, stockhorses.
They are all ridden regularly and look amazing 🤩 in 8mths of having them on this I’ve not had problems with seedy toe, abscesses, greasy heal. I’m very impressed because the TB were always struggling with something. I’m happy with their good string hooves, shine and easy condition.

And another awesome result coming in today, this time in dressage. A young lady riding in 2 tests winning both and coming overall first.
One excited young lady and a tired horse too.
This particular one came to one of my clinics as a OTTB my dedication went into making sure this young rider wasn’t going to get hurt as this mare had attitude and bad manners.
With a few set backs with soundness for ridden work we worked on ground work and connection. Last lesson we were progressing to balanced canter and fly changes, it was beautiful to see this.

Getting to see the progress is one part of why I love doing what I do but when you get pictures of success then that tells me to keep doing what I do.
Today I was sent this picture 1st place in cut out comp with score of 21. This beautiful boy still has a way to go but improvement is showing.

Maternity shoot this 24yr old mare, she is looking amazing ready to have her bub soon. Exciting times with 3 mares getting ready to start cooking up 2025 foals. In meantime we wait patiently for “old girl” to give it up…
