If anyone is looking to attend the KEA AGM, couple you please pay $2 a membership so that you can vote at the meeting
The AGM is on the 9th December, 6.30pm at the Katanning Leisure Centre
We would love to see as many people as possible to get the club up and running again

Katanning Equestrian Association Inc. 2023 AGM to be held 9 December 2024. Please see meeting notice below. If you want KEA to become an active Club again, please come along to the meeting and put your hand up for a job. Everyone is welcome. Office Bearing Positions + 5 Committee positions are up for grabs. What you put in, is what you will get out of it. 😊 Please share this post.

Hello KEA Members

On Friday the 27th October, Katanning Pony Club will be setting up for the Katanning Ag show down at the KEA grounds
There will be showjumps to set up and cones to put out for the breed, ridden, plus much more
Any help would be very much appreciated at this stage there is only 3 people set up

3 Day riding Camp at West Plantagenet PC
They are happy if you just want to go for the day for lessons with either Nell or Sue
Need to be a PC member, pc open member or can do the EA top up memebership
Really lovely PC, would be a great day out

Thankyou to all the people that came to the KEA meeting 🙌🏼 It was great to see a good turn out

On Friday the 31st March at 5pm there will be a informal get together at the grounds to view facilities and stocktake on inventory in the shed

All interested people welcome to attend

If a committee cannot be found, the following motions/resolutions need to be voted upon:

Motion # 1: “Proposal to offer Katanning & Districts Pony Club Incorporated, use of the Katanning Equestrian Association Incorporated’s equestrian equipment for 5 years providing it is stored under cover, securely at Carrolup. Any damage cost to the equipment during the period will be the responsibility of the Katanning & Districts Pony Club Incorporated”.

Motion # 2: “Place all funds in Katanning Equestrian Association’s Westpac Katanning bank account BSB 036-153 A/C # 430065 to a Katanning Equestrian Association Incorporated Term Deposit account for 5 years.”

Motion # 3: Relinquish rental of Australia Post Box 644, Katanning.

If anyone's interested, we have Brad Travers from BT Saddlefit coming to Katanning on the 1st March if anyone would like a saddle fitted
Will have two meeting points, one on the Dumbleyung Rd and the other off the GSH between Ka and Broomehill
