Box Divvy is Community owned and run. This is a fruit veg and grocery cooperative. It's an OPT IN system so when orders are published you will receive an email and have 3 days to share boxes with other members. You can suggest a SPLIT (share a box) or Join a Split. We p

urchase as a group and are up to 30% cheaper than online supermarkets. It’s a Smart co-op so you get more of what you want than a regular co-op.

4 DAY ORDER CYCLE –FOR Thursday pick up

Before 9pm Saturday as a courtesy for your Hubster if you do not wish an order login, go to MY ORDERS, dropdown ‘skip a week’ and tick the date not wanting an order. If you do fortnightly then this is the place to go to organise your orders. Saturday 9pm – Orders are created. You get an email. Note Star Products at the top of the list in SPLITS tab. These are recommendations by your Hubster. The green dollar sign products are good value. Start your order in Marketplace then go to your SPLITS tab. This is explained in your Welcome email. Tuesday 9pm - CUTOFF
Orders closed. Cards charged. There are 2 automatic processing’s, if those both decline - a $5 recharge fee is applied as it pays for someone to manually reprocess. You must pay BEFORE pick-up. Thursday - PICK UP. You must pick up day of delivery at the pick-up time or arrange with Hubster. PAYMENTS
You must pay for your order once committed to an order cycle. It's OPT OUT. So if you don't want an order, you’ll need to suspend before orders are created. Once in an Order Cycle we cannot withdraw an order. It is your responsibility to suspend the correct weeks. If your payment declines twice there is a $5 recharge fee applied to the third attempt. Easy lunch today.
Okonomiyaki (Japanese savoury pancake)
Time to use up the half wombok in the fridge before next divvy day comes around. I also added Zuchinni. All chopped fine and ready to cook in the frypan. I used flour instead of panko crumbs. Add extra veg and sub out other ingredients if you need.
Tasty, healthy, veg packed meal.

It's almost a year since our amazing super high oleic Safflower oil was juged "Best Oil" by a panel of dieticians at the Healthy Food Guide Awards in 2023. These awards shine a light on supermarket products as a guide to help busy people make good choices from the supermarket shelves, which can be crowded with confusing information. This oil is a great kitchen allrounder, high in monounsaturated fats, developed for safer high heat cooking with a clean, neutral flavour.

Thursday hub pack day I was so excited about the loose asparagus I just had to have it for lunch.
Poached eggs, slightly steamed/fried the asparagus in the frypan and served with fresh bread. Avocado was soft and ready from last weeks order.

LETS TALK TEETH 🦷

Have you ever found yourself standing in front of the oral care section in the supermarket, and felt somewhat overwhelmed? A bewildering assortment of brands and product claims – sensitive teeth, gum health, whitening, fresh breath, or all of the above. At least 95% of products are owned by multinationals, and manufactured overseas: US-based Colgate controls about two-thirds of the market, and the remainder is divvied between Oral-B (US-based P&G), Sensodyne and Macleans (both British-owned), Red Seal (NZ) and a sprinkling of tooth whiteners like White Glo, Hismile and Smile Hero that mostly import.

Just one Australian-owned and made brand is left standing: Grants of Australia

We like Grant’s not only for that reason – it’s also as natural a toothpaste as you can get:
❌No Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) which is an industrial cleaner that helps the foaming process, found in most toothpaste (and shampoo and other personal cleaning products for that matter). Some research links over-exposure to mouth ulcers and allergies.
❌No Sodium Hydroxide (or caustic soda aka drain cleaners) found in many toothpaste brands. Do we need to say more??
❌No Chlorine dioxide – an industrial bleach. Duh.
❌No polypropylene glycol – a spreading and wetting agent.
❌No saccharine – an artificial sweetener that has been on the on-and-off list of FDA for causing cancer. Xylitol is a better option.
❌No fluoride. This is a common ingredient in toothpaste to help prevent tooth decay, and does not appear to have side effects – unless swallowed. That is why there are warnings on toothpaste packs (1) not to swallow, and (2) not to use fluoride toothpaste for kids under 6.
