Whilst DOLGWILI NORMAN & Morgan Webb were winning the Battle on the Bidgee, GAMBERLEE SAMPSON & Patrick Hick were at the pay window at Richmond, NW Qld winning the Stockplace Top End Purse Series.

The Series comprises 6 drafts, and competitors' top 4 scores are added to determine who goes through to the 15 horse final.

Well he said "it's been a few years, I'm a bit rusty" and then he goes and wins the Novice at Swan Hill & District Campdraft Club Inc. Cyle and Gamberlee Next Please (Bonlac Call Girl x Bonlac Gi**lo) causing some excitement in the crowd. Next Please has been playing A grade polocrosse this past year and just thought she'd show she can get a beast around some pegs as well.

Gamberlee Jaguar had a little outing this week. Short trip over to Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital to lend a... hand... for a short demonstration on stallion collection and semen analysis 😅 He of course was on his best behaviour but was very happy to get back to his paddock buddy.

What a weekend!!! And the fact we could watch via live stream was fantastic!
We started off with Jaguar playing in the stallion exhibition game on Friday. Although there was a strict "no contact" rule in place for the boys, we all still got a little taste of what they would be like if they were able to play.

Jaguars family members did not disappoint, with Gamberlee Magic (Jaguar x Soda Celica) winning best #1 and best mens horse in the ASH cup with Brendan Hart on board at only her 2nd carnival! What an achievement!
Jaguars half sisters, Gamberlee Amber (ridden by Cyle Newton) and Berragoon Puzzle (ridden by Matt Davison) also did a little showing off and took out best #3 in the ASH cup and ASH championship respectively.
Team Gamberlee finished up winning the ASH cup (2nd div).

Gamberlee had quite the representation with home bred horses on the field, Gamberlee Charlie (Jaguar x Toprail XS) with Sophie Hawthorne on board, Gamberlee Duckling (Ervines Rollex x Koonoomoo Perfect Mystery) with Ellen Newton holding the reins and Gamberlee Osha (Wayerri Prospect x Kirkbys Stud Flight) with Benny Lauko in the saddle.

We would like to give a massive thank you to our team sponsor, Benstud Standardbreds. They are the absolute best in their part of the horse industry, constantly striving for greatness and supporting the community. Thank you also to Toprail Equine for the beautiful ASH bridles. A huge thank you to the ASHS for the initiative and the opportunity. Australian Stock Horses really are the breed for every need.
And finally, thank you to all stallion owners that donated service fees on the weekend. It was great that so many could and wanted to be apart of it. We are so very honoured to be apart of this community also.

This Friday, Gamberlee Jaguar will be apart of something very special. Cassilis Polocrosse Club are inviting you all to their Stallion Exibition! This will allow stallions (which are not permitted to play at Polocrosse carnivals) to show off on the field! We are very fortunate that Jaguar has been accepted to be apart of this event and Cyle is also very excited to finally be able to play the stallion he purposefully bred so many years ago. Gamberlee have also donated a service, along with many other great stallions, into the prize pool for the carnival as well. Good luck to everyone this weekend and to everyone that will be attending, enjoy the Exibition!

Anyone wanting to nominate in the draft at the Cassilis Polocrosse Carnival at Coolah on the 20th of May needs to be a member of ASH and enter through Campdraft Central. Entries open tomorrow, Wednesday 11th May. Limited runs available, so get in quick!

ALL CAMPDRAFT RIDERS must be financial members of the ASHS to compete in any of the Campdraft events.
Temporary ASH memberships will be available on the day to facilitate this, and we thank the CENTRAL TABLELANDS BRANCH for their assistance with this.
