We have a paint registered gelding looking for a new home. Splash is 3 years old and approx 16 h. He does everything with ease and is a beautiful natured boy. Ken is just fine tuning his ground work, saddling and long lining. He is ready for someone to start his riding career

We finally got to bring our beautiful Shine Me Up (Paddy) Stallion home today. He was quiet excited looking around his new home with Ken Dowling this afternoon. We are so looking forward to breeding season. With his temperment, confirmation and intelligence he will produce some quality foals.

After all the rain we’ve had this week we were expecting to find our Paddy covered in mud. Here he is in paddock condition all Shiney with plenty of spark 🌞. Wonder if it’s because he’s sire is Shiney and Nu 😁

We are so impressed with our new boy Paddy. Ken saddled him for the first time last Friday and he had no reaction to having a saddle on his back. Second session today longlinging him in the arena couldn't be happier with the temperament and intelligence of this horse

Look out Kens got a new love in his life 😁. As you do, we go shopping for broodmares and come home with a Stallion 😆. Just meant to be.

How nice is this weather at the moment. Lovely afternoon for halter training with the young ones. They never cease to amaze us about how smart and quickly they learn. It is always a pleasure working with well bred horses.

Day 2 with starting Bobbipep under saddle. Both he and Kylie are doing a great job in bringing it all together. We focus upon getting 1% improvement each session, connection, communication, clarity, consistency and softness of our ques is the key. It is always amazing to share this journey with our babies. I was watching Ken working Bobbie on the ground and felt It was time for his first ride today. What an amazing horse he is, you couldn’t ask for a better start. Was totally unplanned but felt so right. He is such a sweetheart and I am so grateful for the solid education Ken puts on all our horses here at TenderFeel Horses. Makes our job easier 😁

Putting Bobbies buttons on. It is difficult to measure the number of hours that goes into getting a horse ready to start under saddle. It always takes the time it takes and you cannot rush this process

Sonny is a well put together pretty/friendly gelding. Can grab out of the paddock after a spell and is ready to go. Is easy to handle and great to do everything with. Has done many hours of concentrated training and out on the trials. He is a strong healthy horse and we have never had any issues. Has always been bare foot trimmed and has ridden in very rough country. Being a performance horse he would be suitable for an educated confident rider in any discipline. This is a sad sad sale, but alas I cannot keep them all.

After 3 months of not being touched Ken brought Clancy in for a little session and he hasn’t forgotten a thing These brumbies are so special and intelligent they never stop amazing us

With everything that is going on in our life right now it was so exciting to find our Kosciusko Brumby Willow had her foal this week. Clearview Brumby Rescue Qld It’s a “Miracle” mother and daughter are doing well. We would also like to give a huge thank you to our lovely neighbour Andrea who is looking after our babies for us atm while Ken is out of action

First session with Willow

Our first session with Willow this afternoon. Just getting her used to human interaction and getting her comfortable being in each other’s space. It is all about the energy we share. Ken Dowling

Clancy having his third long lining session with Ken. We’ve been letting him rest over the last month as we had the vet out to geld him. The vet says Clancy is about 5 or 6 years of age. He has become part of the family now and has taken a bit of time and effort to gain his and our trust but boy it has all been worth it.

Here is our Brumby Clancy enjoying his new paddock. So far we’ve just being doing some light contact with him. He has been wormed and we will continue to bring him along at a pace that suits him.
