I keep saying I’m not going to start any more horses yet I always seem to end up in the saddle doing their first rides 🤪. I went down to watch Ken have his second long lining session with Splash and I was just going to do his first up and downs in the saddle. Well he is so quiet we ended doing his first riding session. He is such a soft sweet gelding. Looking forward to getting him going under saddle now. Never say never 😁

Splash - Dark Moon Spirit - reg-18504 is a beautiful 3 year old paint gelding ready to start under saddle. Splash is aprox 15 hands, he is a lovely quiet natured young horse who has had all his groundwork done. He has been longlined, saddled, ponied etc and he takes everything in his stride. Splash will make a great trail or performance horse. Looking for his new home for Christmas.
He is a Qld state campion who stands out in the crowd with his unique markings. Both parents are National champions.

I finally got my butt back in the saddle today. I am so blessed to have the horses we have. I chose to ride beautiful Bell out this morning who hasn’t been ridden in months. Just put the saddle on and off we went. She didn’t put a hoof wrong. Such a calm and gentle mare. I cannot wait to meet hers and Paddy’s foal next August. 😍

For a Stud who had not been with a mare before he is such a gentle loving boy with his girls. So far we should have 2 little Paddy Cakes cooking, while waiting for another 2 mares to be ready. Meanwhile Paddy is totally in love with Girlie who is looking after him at the moment. This mare is just amazing.
