At South Burnett Equine Assisted Leaning our aim is to engage clients to learn about themselves and others through interaction with horses while processing emotions, feelings and behaviours. Our practitioner, Rachael, is an experienced horsewoman and special needs educator in mainstream schooling. The horses and the facilities at South Burnett EAL will ensure safety and positive outcomes from each session.

Today was our last kindy sesssion for 2024. Thank you kindy for my reading nook pony and beautiful card. And the donuts 🍩!
It is so rewarding to see these children grow and change over the year to further become resilient, kind, caring community members. This all happens with input from the team of beautiful educators and parents. It is said it takes a village to raise a child and this is evident at South Burnett Child Care Centre. It’s not goodbye-it’s see you around….

Today Prinnie had her regular treatment from Wes- Horse and Rider Bowen Therapy. Diesel has been having some back and leg problems from ball chasing so he got a session too. Safe to say Wes has a new best friend.

Today we said goodbye to our beautiful team member Euston park One direction-Bryn as he crossed the rainbow bridge.He will be remembered for his cheeky fun loving personality. He touched the hearts of many and will be sadly missed by all. Please add your photos and memories below in comments of our gorgeous boy so we can remember him. Thank you to Ruth Porter for entrusting us with Bryn. From playing with zippers, pool noodles, taking straw hats, his love of marigolds and his cheeky whinny-Bryn was one of a kind. 💔

So the ponies are home. We completed the Cobb and co. Saturday we started in Surat and completed 42km. Sunday we floated to the morning tea stop. It was hot and steep and I wanted to make sure it wasn’t too hard for them. We then continued on to Yuleba. It was a very exciting event to be part of. Ponies are happy having a few days off!
