Okay KDOT family - our little Frankie is turning on the cute (a little more the usual) for a great cause. Every year the South Burnett hosts Relay for Life in support of Cancer Council Queensland . As part of this fundraising an amazing group of people take part in Ride for Relay. 5 days on a bike working their guts out for a better future without cancer!!! Frankie really wants to do her bit so this year she is joining the ride to help push fundraising along.

If you can spare a few dollars to help with the fight against cancer I have included the link in the comments.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The school has just advised me that there will be Asbestos removal happening at the school this weekend (20th & 21st May) As a result there can be no one on the grounds. So sorry guys but we will have to cancel classes. Please let as many people know as possible.

Sadly class will be cancelled today due to the wet weather. Held off as long as I could to make this decision in the hope that it would clear but the grounds are very wet.

NO TRAINING 26th September.

Sadly I have to advise that there will be no training this Sunday as the school grounds are unavailable. They are spraying our training area and oval. Hopefully this improves the grounds but they have asked that no one enters the school area this week.

Reminder to all of our Advanced Class members your class start time is 9.30am stating tomorrow. The cool weather has set in and we want to keep the dogs (and humans for that matter) comfortable.

Our regular group class remains with a 8.30am start time. See you all tomorrow morning.

The wet weather has made the grounds pretty ordinary. Both classes will be cancelled this morning due to this.

Welcome to classes for 2021. The team at KDOT have had a lovely holiday but are ready to get started for an exciting year.

I have received many messages over the break so please be patient as I get around to responding to all of those.

Classes will start tomorrow as below:

7.30am Advanced Class. $20

8.30am Group class including puppies.
$20 for dogs and $10 for puppies up to 5 months.

Just a reminder that it is a good idea to arrive 10min before class however please don’t distract others that are still working.

Look forward to seeing you all at Taabinga State School grounds (Railway Tce side) tomorrow.

CHANGE OF PLANS!!!!

Our Christmas breakup is being held this Sunday. It is a combined class starting at 8.30am.

However the school has advised the grounds are not available. ***Class will be held at MEMORIAL PARK just passed the play area near the picnic tables***

Please bring a camp chair for an activity during the class. Crazy costumes and good cheer are encouraged!

Please tag as many people as you can to get the message out. Thanks and look forward to seeing you all there.

While it is rather overcast the rain seems to be holding off. Come on down and let the dogs have a run around. We can duck undercover if things change. See you all soon.

Sadly the weather is not our friend this
morning. With regular showers coming over and predicted to increase during the morning.

Thank you everyone for your patience during this time of Covid-19. It is wonderful that Queensland has managed to keep our numbers so low. But now it’s time to get back to training.

Taabinga State School has now given us the go ahead to begin classes again. We will therefore start back on SUNDAY the 14th June.

We request that everyone still continues to abide by the appropriate Social Distancing requirements. Please bring your own hand sanitiser for after class if you wish to use it. We do recommend that you don’t have it on your hands if using food rewards for your dogs.

Classes will be as follows:
Sunday 14th June

8.00am - 9.00am. Advanced/Off Lead Class
9.00am - 10.00am. Puppy/Young Dog Class.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19 there will NOT be any classes running from the 29th of March until further notice.

Let’s have a positive spin on this difficult time......think of all the extra training you will get in with your 4 legged friends.
