We offer a wide range of services for companion and production animals throughout the South Burnett Region (Kingaroy, Kumbia, Nanango, Wondai, Murgon and surrounding areas). These services include health care and advice for many different animals, including birds and exotic pets (for example rats, guinea pigs, lizards and snakes).

We have seen an alarming amount of Paralysis Tick cases lately so we are urging all pet owners to make sure their pets are up to date with tick prevention.

Tick paralysis can be fatal and very expensive to treat but it is completely preventable!

If you need help choosing an appropriate preventative please contact us.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide our normal on-call service on Saturday afternoon/night. We are taking a well deserved break to celebrate a KVS members wedding.

Please see the photo for the 24/7 emergency vets we recommend if you are requiring emergency treatment for your pet.

Black and tan male neutered dachshund, brought into us this morning. Unfortunately no microchip, if he is yours give us a call on 41625511. He's a very sweet boy and we'd love to get him home!

We have seen an alarming amount of patients suffering from Tick Paralysis this week. Tick paralysis is a very serious and deadly condition.
It can cause your pet to have trouble breathing, swallowing, walking and can result in death if they do not receive appropriate treatment.

We are urging all pet owners to keep their pets paralysis tick prevention up to date, it can save your pets life!
