Our team at Edwards Saddleworld were feeling particularly thrilled with Chris Burton & his SILVER MEDAL success 🥈

Today we spoke to Chris’s mother & well known local coach Ruth Burton ⬇️
Did you know Chris grew up with Toowoomba as his local city
He attended Downlands College in Toowoomba and rode for QLD in Interschool Equestrian
Chris attended Brymaroo Pony Club(which Ruth started)
Chris’s cousin Trudy Seefeld (IVY BANK Performance Horses) is also a local coach & competitor having ridden up to 3 star eventing herself
Chris’s cousin and wonderful previous Edwards Employee Megan Drennan is an eventer & Toowoomba artist. Her husband Brad shares the horse passion and is a local farrier ⚒️
Chris’s brother Karl & wife Felicity are top camp drafters, they conduct horsemanship and cattle working clinics statewide and run the Paddock to Plate enterprise - Burton Family Beef located on the Darling Downs
AND Chris rides in a Prestige Saddles “Chris Burton” which was developed in collaboration with Chris & is sold & fitted through Saddleworld stores
