I think I need some catnip for myself 😂. After a traumatic night on Saturday to Sunday for Sunti especially due to loud thunder that arrived after midnight, Tassie had over 42,000 lightening strikes, some catnip treats were the right thing for the babies to chill out with.
Now if only I could have something similar after a mostly sleepless night, hang on, here's some chocolate , that will do 🥰.
This video was from a year ago as it was warm and sunny today but the scene was similar.

A video from a few years ago, when Sunti was not yet a full year old and did not have a full winter mane so this is how he plays with the laser toy we call Dottie, nowadays we have one torch that changes into a butterfly or mouse which they both love to chase and Sunti jumps sideways and I have to film this for you all.

Still feeling pretty bad, no crown preparation was done as a shadow showed on the x-ray which means we need to wait 12 months to ensure it is scar tissue and nothing else. I also had a mega filling which took about an hour and a half and another filling so pretty sore from all this.

On a cooler autumn day we went for our favourite walk and as usual we saw the lovely black swans there and this time I managed ( it sounds very quiet, I am sorry but at least it is on the video) their sweet cooing sounds right at the start of the video. This bay is so lovely and I will never tire of being there, whether it is summer or winter, even on a cold misty day it is magical. There is a bush type walk where you can see pademelons, small Tasmanian Wallabies that let you come pretty close to watch them, tons of lovely birds , all kinds of coastal birds as well, then there are the lovely people of that area, it is a magical spot that brings peace when you are immersed in mother nature.
Hope this very brief video brings some (even if just briefly) magic and peaceful joy into your lives.

Dear friends, a brief video of our feathered friends visiting us. We have had some not so great weather for Easter. I feel for the people who went camping as the temperatures were like winter but even on a dark day we get colour as we did with our sweet parrots who visited us. I love their happy sounds.

The soundscape of our lives , it may not be a proper sunny day, although sun has been out occasionally but our sweet feathered friends are here & were noisy as usual. These are rainbow lorikeet parrots who love to eat our apples ( that are on 2 of our trees) as well as the honey from the blossoms of this flowering gum tree in our garden. I tried to keep the camera steady but a few flew so close to my head I did move, I thought some were going to land. If you hear a noise it is the bag of bird seed being picked up by a large cockatoo named Spiddy who was also visiting and on the left of me but I did not wish to stop filming or move around. I love the sound of these birds, you can also hear some other bird calls as well. I wish you all a lovely spring or autumn or fall, as our autumn is starting, wishing you all a lovely day.❤️
I do hold the camera steady from around 23 seconds onwards :)
