It’s Thursday at the kennels, and the check-in counter is buzzing like a possum on caffeine! Bella the kelpie struts in with an attitude that says, “I’m the queen of this joint,” while Ollie the cavoodle practically floats in, sporting the fluffiest fur imaginable. Spritely spaniels Oakley and Lacey zoom in, they’ve just downed triple espressos—one bark at a time! Skip, the senior border collie, arrives ready for serious bird-chasing business (no time for puppy shenanigans!). Zeke and Josie, the portly staff crosses, waddle in, clearly hoping for extra treats. Tiny Teddy the smoochy cavoodle is back, spreading cuddles like confetti! And then there’s Polly, the golden retriever newbie, who looks bewildered by all this chaos but is eager to join the zoomy fun. As June Long Weekend rolls in so too does the canine carnival! It’s a full house of party pups loving holiday time. They’re zooming, wrestling, and squeezing in cuddles. The red-headed Vizsla crew—Darcy, Fonzy, Penny, and Alfie—are like Halley’s Comet, blazing through the yard with bursts of mismatched energy. Benny the Border Collie has claimed the wrestling mat, engaging in epic bouts with the speedy red streaks. Doc the Mastiff? Let’s just say he’s got a sudden need for speed, making it hard to tell if he’s racing or just trying to find the nearest snack.
